Joseph J. Burrascano Jr., M.D.

East Hampton, NY

Medical Director for Advanced Research Corporation in St. Petersburg, FL

Vice President, International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society

An internist from East Hampton, New York, Dr. Burrascano has been a leading authority in treating tick-borne diseases for over 25 years. He is author of the ILADS Lyme Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines in addition to publishing 16 papers in various medical journals. His appearances at conferences and scientific symposia continually add new insight and clarity to the controversies in Lyme disease treatment.



Richard I. Horowitz, M.D.

Hyde Park, NY

Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine

President-Elect, International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society

Dr. Horowitz is a Board Certified Internist based in Hyde Park, New York, who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses. A former Assistant Director of medicine at Vassar Brothers Hospital, he has over 20 years experience in treating more than 10,000 cases of persistent (late) Lyme disease.

Representative Jason Bartlett

(D-Bethel/Danbury/Redding). Representative Bartlett included Lyme-related issues in his campaign platform and recently introduced bills to further Lyme awareness. Motivated by the personal experiences of friends and family as well as the health concerns of his constituents, Representative Bartlett has pledged continued action in addressing and eradicating tick-borne illness in Connecticut.

From route I-84 east or west :

Take exit 4 Lake Ave. off I-84. Turn right at the end of exit ramp onto Lake Ave. Travel approx. 8/10 mile on Lake Ave. (the name of the street becomes Mill Plain Rd.) At the light in front of the Super Stop and Shop supermarket, turn right onto University Blvd. Go about a mile to the top of the hill. See the Westside Campus Student center on the right.

From US-7 south of I-84:

Go north on US-7 to the intersection of I-84. Bear right as US-7 blends into I-84 east. Take exit 4 Lake Ave. Follow the directions above.
