I have been trying to get my newly forming group listed in the Support Groups section of Lymenet. I am a long time and think I am a trusted member.
I have emailed Bill and Jennifer several times. I began this process about 6 weeks ago. I have had no reply at all.
I am posting here because this IS a medical issue. I am offering resources to help people navigate their way to help and I can't get this listed.
There are no other groups in my immiedate area and therefore I believe this is needed ASAP.
The ticks are out!!!
If you can help me get listed, if you know an alternate way of reaching admin, please help.
Thanks, robi

Good luck, Robi!
If you get it on there it will be one of the few current links that would be helpful.
In my experience most of the support groups listed are long gone anyway. I've found mostly removed items and outdated info.
(In my state, for instance, there are about 7 groups listed. Only one is active and basically useless from my interactions with them. I am waiting for a return email (or phone call) from a desperate request for help from a year ago, March (2006) I think I'll hold my breath.)
Can I join your group from a distance?
ps. sorry for the rant pps. I'm really only typing stuff to bump this.

I'm just bumping to avoid doing my taxes
Actually... in 2004, we tried very hard to update all support group listings on this site. SEVERAL volunteers from many states worked very hard on this information.
When it was compiled and sent to Jenifer... this is what I received...
This is the form for adding new support groups:
Name of Support Group:
Contact Person for this Group:
Contact Person Telephone (ONLY IS YOU WANT PEOPLE CALLING YOU. This information gets posted to the web!):
Contact Person Email:
City:
State or Province:
Country:
Regions of your state/province served:
Your name:
Your email address:
Other Information:
URL For Support Group:
Comments:
Good luck, we tried to get The Colorado Support System listed for at least 3 years, and then just gave up. But, we compensated by adding a signature contact at the end of our LymeNet posts showing who we were.
Eventually, when other Lymenetters saw this enough times, they would send people directly to us, or share that info with those who inquired.
Much love, M

Sorry Robi. I haven't received a request from you to add your support group! That is why I haven't responded. What email address are you sending it to?
Newly formed group meeting monthly to share Knowledge and support. Contact above Email for more information.
