Does anyone have shortness of breath upon doing small amounts of activity like walking to the mailbox or vacumming one room?

Is this from all the medicine or the inactivity from being sick with lyme and in treatment for over a year or the lyme?

I'm pending many other tests so medically I'm covered, just wanted to know what all others who experience this....think about it.

Before treatment, it was not such a problem. It only became a problem around the babs treatment.

I did when I first got sick but I also had mycoplasma Pneumoniae. It went away after taking long term Minocin.

Now it has suddenly come back after about 8 months of pulsed Zith. Felt great, then bam! SOB at night while sleeping and harder to walk up hills etc..

Heart tests fine, lung tests excellent. Mine seems to be due to inflammation from herx at the moment.

Myco, did anyone check you for whooping cough?

I was told I have that, don't have a clue how or where.

Maybe whooping cough causes shortness of breath too???

Anyone know?

Shortness of breath is a common babs symptom and common during treatment for it. If you're still undergoing babs treatment hang in there, it'll get better.

Lymies often develop reflux symptoms as well which can cause shortness of breath. Lyme can infiltrate the GI tract or the abx themselves can cause the reflux symptoms.
