Hi,
Does anyone feel like their joints are "loose"? I feel like I could easily pull something out of socket (which actually I did a few years back yeouch)
Am I just out of shape? I am, but it doesn't feel attributed to that (I wasn't that out of shape yet when I ripped my ACL - knee ligament). Is there a name for these "loose" joints?
With best wishes,
canbravelyme.

I don't know if I have Lyme or not, but I feel like I have loose joints. I can pop stuff in and out. They pop all the time and I can make certain ones pop at any given time.
I can take my fingers and pull them in and out. It is creepy. I think it is called hypermobility. When joints pop in and out. But, proably not your case.
People with hypermobile joints have joints that pop and are loose all the time. There ankles pop out while asleep. There hands and feet can pop out of place 10 times a day. Its bad. And painful.
But, I feel like I have loose joints. My Ortho and Rheumy said it was 'nothing to worry about'. So...
But, I feel the same way.

My Joints are so loose , when my right arm gets tired I take it off and change it with my left; This however creates a problem typing:)

Good one, Al!
I have loose joints and have as long as I can remember. My tendons and ligaments can't seem to hold my bones in place.
I am constantly cracking and correcting things that are wrong.
The clincher in realizing something was extremely wrong with me was my right shoulder slipping out of it's socket while in a movie theater and couldn't get up to fix it for a while. Not fun.
