This might be a dumb question, and if it is, sorry.......
Reading about the new Lyme Research Center in NY got me to wondering....is there any research center/lab that needs ticks sent to them for research or testing?
Ticks are abundant in middle TN right now, and I could easily collect 100 in a week. Seriously.
Just curious if anyone knows of any research being done? Or if samples are needed?
There are actually some researchers locally at MTSU who have been targeting areas in TN and "dragging" them for ticks to test. Of course, I don't know their names, but I'm sure I can find out. If/when I do, I'll PM you.
Hope hubby's doing well!!

Wow, I didn't know they were doing that at MTSU. Yes, if you can find out, please let me know. We're got LOTS of Lone Star ticks here....
ALso the bigger plain brown ones, whatever they are.
