The last 2 weeks I've been reallys hort of breath. A few weeks ago I could walk 1 mile in my hilly neighborhood. Now, I feel short of breath just standing walking to the kitchen.
It feel like after you exercise-short shallow breaths-no anxiety though. Is this air hunger or just shortness of breath?
Lyme or babs?
I know it's not meds-got worse my 3rd week off meds.

Jaime, it was one of my early symptoms. I actually got tested for asthma because it got so bad I would hyperventilate. Now I've learned not to panic when it happens, to breath out as completely as I can, and it stops me from hyperventilating.
It's from babs.

Sounds like air hunger. I describe it as not being able to get a deep breath. Sometimes it annoys me, but usually I just talk myself out of panicking and, eventually I manage to feel better. Sometimes a yawn does the trick for me.
Also, this, for me, was a babs sx. It has improved on Mepron and art.

This was one of my worst symptoms, really really bad. I also at this time had burning pain in the uterus and all over the body. Fatigue too.
It was at this time I found out I had lyme and was put on the biaxin and flagyl.
I had the air hunger stop.
I then went off antibiotics, and by the 2nd month the air hunger came back, and was then put back on LYME antibiotics the azithrmycin and flagyl, the
air hunger stopped.
I also have been treated for babesia, and had some air hunger before treating, and it got somewhat better.
So for me, lyme was a big cause of my air hunger. I also found that my light sensitivity was babesia.
But I now have to treat the lyme to also keep the light better, but it was not able to get better much until treating babesia.
So, it can be mixed things, have to treat everything,
Trish
