Hi -- Anyone else trying mangosteen juice and getting good results?
I've been drinking it for about 2 weeks now and it is dramatically taking down some Lyme symptoms.
In the first hour of drinking a little bit, my eye pain diminished and I could start to focus again.
Twenty four hours later, I was able to take off the dark glasses I have worn for 2 decades and look at light(got bit 25 years ago; didn't know I had Lyme until this past spring).
I also have lipomas(fatty tissue tumors) in my legs and the pain around them has gone down such that I'm not on ice 24/7. They are also softening a little.
An MD doctor who has put Lyme patients on the juice says the lipomas can go away if I drink enough juice.
I'm working up to what he wants: 1/2 bottle a day for 21 days. People with cancer drink a bottle a day for one month and then 1/2 bottle a day for the second month. A cab driver told me his leukemia went away on the juice.
The juice is made from the SE Asian mangosteen fruit. It has 43 xanthone compounds in it with double bonds. They donate electrons to free radicals and neutralize them.
The juice is an anti-oxidant 6x stronger than Vitamin C. It is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antiparasitic and antifungal.
I drink a little bit every couple hours, with water. You can find it at your healthfood stores.
I like the Ultra Mangosteen brand best -- has a good juice blend, includes goji berries, 70 trace ionic minerals.

I LOVE it, but I wouldn't use anything except Xango. Could you go back and edit your post? It's difficult for those with vision problems to read.
The original mangosteen juice has helped me get off 6 different meds so far!
I no longer have an astigmatism [verified with dr's notes], pain, fatigue, brain fog, headaches, allergies, hmmm....what else?
All in all, it's changed my life.
Glad you're liking the results!

My understanding is the Ultra Mangosteen does have the whole rind? I like this brand as well, especially with the Goji and blueberry juices added.
Are you familiar with this brand Lymetoo? I order it at the Vitamin Shoppe for $14/ bottle as opposed to $40 bottle Xango.
I have seen great results with it as well..

If you're drinking 1/2 bottle a day, $14/bottle is a bit easier to take than $40/bottle which @ 1/2 bottle a day, you'd go broke. So Lymetoo, how often do you drink Xango? How quickly do you go through that $40 bottle?

My Xango is only $25 per bottle, plus taxes and shipping. About $31 total for my state.
NO OTHER MANGOSTEEN PRODUCT CONTAINS THE WHOLE FRUIT PUREEE. I can show you the patent as well.
Like I said, you have a good antioxidant there, but why not go for the best?
If Ultra has the rind, you will see it collecting at the bottom of the bottle. My bottle has more than one inch of rind at the bottom. It's very noticeable.

I take Xango also. The sugars in it are natural sugar from the fruit juice. I have always been very sensitive to sugar and get low blood sugar easily. I've also had Candida for years. I've had no problem with the Xango. In fact, I think it has helped my stomach problems.
Xango has helped me tremendously with fatigue, allergies, and the best one for me so far - no more sleep meds. I was on $70 out of my pocket sleep meds every month. I took Xyrem and Sonata.
If you read the other post on Xango from yesterday, you will see one of my customers is completely free of her bone cancer which she just found out Friday after going to see her doctor.
I've compared my health food store brands and they are much lower in the amount of antioxidants in them. The owner was very surprised!
Xango has never been $100 a bottle. Now if you join (like a Sam's Club) you pay a membership fee and you get the case for $100 plus shipping and taxes. That may be what you are thinking of.
Hmm, I can't think of why else you would've seen it for that much for just a bottle.
I've got to admit, I would pay that for it if I had too. Thankfully, I don't.
It has actually helped my candida instead of "feeding the yeast." Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to take it.
I feel like its one of the best products I take in my "arsenol of supplements" because it kills free radicals plus helps so much with inflammation.

Can anyone tell me how much sugar is in xango? I looked for ir on the bottle but there is no nutrition lable.

Melatonin is a powerful antioxidant that can easily cross cell membranes and the blood-brain barrier.[3] Unlike other antioxidants, melatonin does not undergo redox cycling, the ability of a molecule to undergo reduction and oxidation repeatedly. Redox cycling may allow other antioxidants (such as vitamin C) to act as pro-oxidants, counterintuitively promoting free radical formation. Melatonin, once oxidized, cannot be reduced to its former state because it forms several stable end-products upon reacting with free radicals. Therefore, it has been referred to as a terminal (or suicidal) antioxidant.[14] From
Thought you guys should see this why melatonin is better than vitamin C and other antioxidents.

I was wondering what the shelf life is on any of the mangosteen drinks? I thought most fruit juice lose most of their nutritional value after a short time. How do you ship it in the summer when it's so hot?

Two year shelf life unopened. No problems with the heat, but in Canada they have troubles in the winter!!

Kathy, I would venture to guess that the bottles will have expiration dates on them. I just checked my recent shipment of Ultras. It says exp date 02/09, so they're giving it 2 years...I personally will not wait that long
Ok, Tree, what are you going to have us drinking? Melasteen/mangotonin?

Question for all takers,
How much of the juice did you take per unit of body weight???
I know somebody on this thread that took ALOT and had quick results,,,have read others that took less and had results but slower.
So am wondering IF their is a recommended amount to take per unit of your weight???
I know I am probably twice the size of some here so assume it takes MORE juice to do same thing??
I think this is a VERY important aspect of using this and also how often per day!!!
come on,,,all you people who tried it,,,tell us how much how often and even those that it didnt work for,,,tell us same and see if we can dx WHY???
I took some once,,,but looking back it was too little too seldom and not constantly enough. kept forgetting,,,no other excuse!!
Also,,,it 'appears' to me that it makes NO difference what else you are taking,,,you can take this,,,in other words it doesnt appear to me taking it is NOT limited by other meds,,might make them work,,,better!!!! RIGHT OR WRONG???
Help us figure out IF this is good for us and an approximate percentage(to compare with other stuff)
I am going to give it 'another' more HONEST try,,,again!!!me being--just don--

I had quick results with it. My husband was out-of-town when I started on it. It was about a year ago because I had gone to Home Depot, bought a bunch of plants and flowers and was in the yard working when he drove up.
To say he was totally shocked is an understatement. It gave me energy on my second or third day.
What it has done for me the most is gotten me off Xyrem and all other sleep meds. I couldn't sleep even with meds like Sonata, etc.
Now I don't take anything and sleep like a baby all night.
We bought a box for my mother-in-law shortly after I started on it. She has really bad arthritis in her shoulder and that pain has gotten a lot better.
Last week I talked to her and she told me she always had to use her cane to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
She said lately she hasn't had to use it and can get up with no problem. She said it has to be the Xango as nothing else has changed. She is 85.
My little maid has breast cancer that has gone to the bone. My karate friend's husband is her oncologist. She was on it for awhile and her pain went away in her ribs (she doesn't speak English very well so I have a hard time getting all the medical facts from her).
Anyway, her cancer came back about a month ago so we started her on it again. She also did a round of radiation.
We are buying it for her since she is single and struggling right now. She was here Tuesday and told me her ribs and her back are not hurting her anymore since she started back on it.
My husband takes it even though he is healthy. When he goes out-of-town, he forgets to take it with him and he says he can tell a difference in how alert he is when on it.
Those are all personal testimonies that I have first hand knowledge of.
I'm average height and weight and take 2oz 2 times a day. Some days I take a bit more and some days I too forget, but in general I'm pretty consistent.
I've also heard that the more one takes especially at first the more noticeable the results.
Good luck trying it again and do keep us posted.

I take 2 1/2 to 3 oz twice a day. I can miss one dosage and do OK, but I haven't missed two doses in a row in nearly 3 yrs!
I feel wonderful 99% of the time. I'm not saying it cured my lyme, but let's just say I no longer have any syptoms as long as I drink the juice. Pretty easy to do!
Take my juice and you'll have a bear on your hands!
oh...in answer to your question, don... I do believe it's VERY important to drink it at least twice a day and every day to get the results you desire.
I think a good guideline to decide "how much" is your own body, but a good rule of thumb is about 1 oz per 50lbs of body weight.
For those who are ill, it may take slightly more, or slightly less depending upon the response of your own body.

Lyme Ed: I can only speak for myself. I buy the Ultra online -- I googled for cheapest price.
I think it's good for Lyme, since Lyme is an inflammatory condition and the juice is anti-inflammatory/anti-oxidant.
I cannot speak for its efficacy re candida, as there is some sugar in the product. I do have candida, and I haven't experienced being bothered by the product as in it increasing sugar cravings at all..
I don't have an LLMD to advise me one way or the other. The one Lyme-literate office I did mention it to learned from me, rather than the other way around.
Don: re how much to drink. I spoke with an MD doctor who was involved with Xango. He said it also depends on how ill you are. If someone has cancer, he wants them to drink more. I think he said he put cancer patients on one bottle/day for a month, then 1/2 bottle for the next month.
For me, since I have Lyme disease plus lipomas, he suggested I drink 1/2 bottle a day for one month, then I could do less after that. So that's what I did.
Now I drink about 5 oz/day. I also can go by how much I need to drink for symptom alleviation, like for my eyesight symptoms, or conversely, how little I need to drink, if it starts to give me the runs. My weight is around 180 lbs.
Mangosteen juice works for some and doesn't for others. So I've been told by lots of people I've recommended the juice to, even if they didn't have Lyme.
Parisa: yes, I continue to get results. I tested not drinking the juice, and I found my eye muscles started to develop pain within a few days. Drinking the juice causes eye muscle pain, blurry focus and sensitivity to light to go away for me. Also, since Ultra has 70 minerals added to it, my nails have gone very hard.
Radha: I never did capsules so can't speak to that question. I would think the juice would have faster absorption.

Thats why I mentioned melatonin it is a very powerful antioxident that does to bind again and agin with the wrong things vitamin c can.
"melatonin does not undergo redox cycling, the ability of a molecule to undergo reduction and oxidation repeatedly. Redox cycling may allow other antioxidants (such as vitamin C) to act as pro-oxidants, counterintuitively promoting free radical formation.
Melatonin, once oxidized, cannot be reduced to its former state because it forms several stable end-products upon reacting with free radicals.

I don't normally chime in on the Xango discussions because I am a distributor. I don't sell it to earn my living. Just do it for myself and those who ask me to get it for them. Although, it has helped to pay for my personal stash.
Anyway, I was soooo skeptical at first. For me, I have found that I get a second wind in the late afternoon after I have my 2 oz. of Xango. It gets me over the hump of an otherwise long day.
When I discovered that my bottle was disappearing rather quickly in the fridge, I realized that my family was "stealing" an ounce here and there of my liquid gold. They are all hooked now. Why? Because it tastes pretty darn good & they all swear it helps with energy and stamina. These are not people with serious health issues.
I can't say for sure what else it has done for me, except maybe helped with headaches and digestion. But, I can say that I feel funky when I run out for a few days. My sibs say the same thing.
I wonder if there is a 12 step program for Xango addicts.

It is much cheaper on this site. (at least for those that just one bottle to try out)
My brother sells this stuff and my ex buys it continually from him, in signing up he had to have auto shipping of a case a month - I beleive now it's 2 cases a month - which can average close to 200.00.
I don't discredit the product - I'm just not sure about the sugar in it, even tho it's natural sugar - it still can effect the yeast if one has it.
I know I tryed it and in 3 to 4 days I was so congested it wasn't funny. HOWEVER some say in here that that will go away with time - but when you can't breath from congestion due to yeast - sugar related I have to question if this is right for me.
I truely would love to give it a shot once again but am scared that it will make my yeast worse.
Not many things on the market without sugar, it's tuff at times.

Yes you were the one months ago who pointed the congestion problem to me and your thoughts on it.
It's not so much the sinus with me - it's more chest congestion along with sinus.
I really do which to give it a try once again, but need to be cautious about the breathing - which for me is always a HUGE red flag that it is not working well with the yeast in my body.
My girlfriend started "RED" is has little sugar in it as well and like xango the sugar is natural - she too got congested and had to stop. That was 46.00 a bottle I beleive.

I don't believe they are allowed to sell it at a health food store so somebody is selling it improperly.
Also, the only reason you give out your social security is when you have people signed up under you (which happened to me when people saw a difference), Xango sends you a check.
I guess I just don't understand why people get upset when we start talking about how good Xango is? Its not hype when it works.
I've financially helped more people with it when they can't afford it and don't want to sell it because I know how much it will help them.
I tell people the same thing about the steam tent with oxygen/ozone. My husband made a spread sheet so if anybody wanted to set one up, they could. I'm not making any money from that.
I also tell them about the KMT24 and when I was using my Rife machine I talked about it.
I think everybody likes to share what is working for them.

Thanks all for the replies of amount taken in comparison of size etc. I am sure there is a cororlation(sp) of this.
Thanks for all the expert contribution to this also. I DO think this has the 'largest' positive response from users I have heard of in YEARS and years of reading here,,,including abx. Everybody reacts differently as with anything.
I surely THINK this is worth a shot for most all of us. I have money concerns,,,just like all of us. But I have wasted a ton of money on much worse stuff than this.
I havent sold any of this stuff to date,,,but think I "MAY" try to in the future. So I dont have a dog in this fight,BUT maybe next week!!
IF I can get a good reaction from it,,,which I havent been able to even on ANY abx,,,then I guess its sorta a no brainer. I am gonna try an increased amount like said previously and TRY to see if that is indeed a reason I didnt feel results the first time. Back then I really didnt have the time to do this(was hit and miss consisitantly),,,now I do,,,makes a difference,,,I HOPE!!!
I took a different diet suplement for 6-9 months and spent tons more than this stuff,,,and didnt feel any batter,,,actually worse,,the pepper in it caused my arthritis to flare. Not naming names,,,I still think that product is probably good for some folk,,,just NOT me. BUT I gave it a good shot, and now I know!!
I hope I have explained MY feelings on this. And I would suggest trying it,,, to all loved ones also!! I just hear consistant GOOD results from THIS product.remaining--just don--

Your post implies that the lipomas were caused by Lyme. Is that true? If so, I never realized that Lyme causes these things.
I have a huge lipoma on my shoulder that I'm getting removed in 2 weeks. Should I try Mangosteen juice instead? I much rather drink some juice than go through the pain and expense of surgery.
