If you sent in your name for Forest Lake, Minnesota's first annual Lyme disease Walk/Run, you made a difference to all who were there. Names were carried reverently along the trail. People you walked and ran with felt your presence. Please read my article on paper participants at: www.lymeblog.com or use the direct link: http://lymeblog.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=987.
You will be touched by how well this worked out. I hope you felt us thinking of all of you.
See pictures from the event, which at last tally raised over $7000 for Tom Grier's MIBDEC organizaton, at www.minnesotalymeactiongroup.com. Click on Walk/Run. Photos are at the bottom of the page.
The MN site also has information on MIBDEC and a short but important piece written by Tom Grier.
My sincere thanks to all of you for making this such a special day.

Thanks so much, mjo. The story of the runners surging forward when they learned what the papers were about -- that made me cry.

Thank you, so much, mjo and all the walkers/runners!
I just read your article and had to find the box of tissues before posting.
I am honored to have been there with you.

Thanks all of you for your part. I do hope others will pick up the torch. Betty, you're right. I think the LymeBlog print is too small. Will see what they can do.

Thanks to all of you for your comments here. In Lyme the smallest bit of feeling good goes a long way.
Here's a wierd question. I have a lot of the emails that provided names for the circles, a master list, and I collected many of the name circles back from the runners and walkers. The names are sitting here and I don't know what to do with them. They've meant so much to me and to you that I can't just throw them away.
Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.
