Doing better in treatment after a year, then it feels like you get a weird virus where nothing else hurts except one part of your body, in my case my legs and you feel like you have a sort of flu moving through you but only because you feel kind of lousy and the pain doesn't go away. I have never even had this kind of pain with Lyme. I also have heat in my legs and a weird pasty feeling and the pain IS symetrical.. I am on Malarone and Doxy. Thanks

Does only one leg hurt or both? If both hurt then probably nothing to worry about.

One thing to be aware of is that if babesia is being killed off it could possibly cause a blood clot -- especially if you have hypercoagulation.

Hubby definitely feels like he is physically sick -- not a normal feeling for him. He is treating babesia and was just released from the hospital. Babs had become drug resistant to quinine. Switched to primaquine. Hubby is on heparin while continuing babs treatment.

This is not medical advice, just hubby's experiences.

just went thru is last week, i was on antibotics for l6 months this past march and april couldn't have felt better then bang it hit me. consent leg (both) and left foot pain. the heat like burning, and flu like leg feeling. I just spent the last 10 days off antibotics and on l00mg of diflucan once a day for 10 days treating what my LLMD thought could be a systemic yeast infection. mention this to your LLMD i'm back to feeling much better. good luck.

My husband and I had something lke that once. We got 5th's disease, also known as "slap-cheek" from our daughter from preschool.

It's a common virus. Little kids get bright red cheeks.

Adults can get severe joint pain for about two weeks. It hit us in the lower back and legs.

I would have thought it was just the same old, same old mysterious fibro-whammo, but the note came home from preschool and my husband got it too.

I hope that whatever is causing your pain passes quickly!
