Went on the 2 week 'doxy cure' that we stretched to 3 weeks.
Did fine while on the doxy......but.... took a HUGE nosedive since.
The bart rash came back, alot of memory issues, brain fog, joint pain, exhaustion, GI ...
We took a gamble when he got bit knowing we would not be able to get him into see an LLMD.
We were hoping that the after the doxy, he wouldn't get worse.
Now he is worse than before.
I do not know how he makes it to work everyday. In all seriousness.
It seems like every time we try to get ahead or anything lately we try to do and it just keeps getting worse.
Our health [especially my husband's right now]
Our finances would be better but husband forgets to write things down and finally came to terms with that.
Our house....we haven't been in it long enough to make anything off a sale.
Found out we have to finish the remodeling job rather quickly due to getting another inspection for the refinance.
That would not be so bad before except the Lyme is kicking our tails right now.
The next few weeks are going to be very tough.
He usually handles the major house stuff, but right now its up to me. He just doesn't have the energy anymore.
I have never seen him like this and this is getting scary to me.
*Edited to add....
Ok, I don't want to sound whiny or selfish......
Husband has never said I can't and right now its up to me to paint the interior of the house, put up a fence and move a bunch of furniture....before Tuesday.
OOPS!....I didn't realize I posted this in medical.

ks, so sorry things are the pits right now for you both, and his especially going downhill fast.
can't your regular md give him more antibiotics w/refills for now?? that would help to keep them in him to start killing the chetes in him.
do you have close family, friends, neighbors, church family who have said before, "let me know what we can do to help you?"
it's COLLECTION time ... contact them and tell them you do need their services on these 3 things; can they help you and it NEEDS TO BE DONE BY TUES. INSPECTION!
for you to handle the bills completely so you know where you are. hubby handled for 2 decades until his parkinson's tremors were so severe neither of us could read his writing.
so i took over tooking it; couldn't get our checkbook balanced until 4 months ago; working well now!!
you/hubby are in my thoughts, prayers, and good wishes that you will take the initiative and call these folks to help you.
how about KIDS OUT OF SCHOOL TEENAGERS?

Ks Mom. prayers to you and yours for a speedy improvement to your situation.
ANY chance YOU can find even a 'part-time' job or two to help out here??? Seems wally-world always needs cashiers or stockers. Or their are LOTS of other places like that.
Are YOU professionally trained??? Experience in any field??
Whats your husbands field of employment?? Is there easier jobs THERE where he can go and work inside?? Out of the heat and humidity?? Is there any accomodations that might help HIS workplace??
Is your husbands employer 'aware' of his illness??? Or better off NOT knowing??? Sometimes they will make up the darnest excuses to rid themselves of a sick person,so dont push it unless a clear reason to do so!! Was he BIT at work or play or home??? If at work,,,is that considered workmans comp???
Sorry for all the questions, just throwing out food for thought here!!!being--just don--
