The first one I vaguely remember because it was a long time ago. There was a girl who had been sick a while with weird things happening. She was finally diagnosed with LD. I think the show ended with saying she had to be on IV antibiotics for the rest of her life. I don't know why her case was so drastic. It said that she had gone camping (that's when they think she got bit) and she was diagnosed not too long after.
Then there was an episode of a man who had a lot of symptoms involving his heart. Along with a lot of other stuff. He had given up on doctors. Then a friend saw how bad he looked and gave him a doctor's name. The doctor had him fill out a Lyme symptom sheet and he had most of the symptoms. At the end of the episode it said he was on IV antibiotics for a few months.. then on oral antibiotics for about a year. He said now he feels like his old self. That episode was hopeful..
I wonder if you can order dvd's of the episodes? I would like to see the 1st one again... I remember watching that one (it was months ago) and thinking I feel so bad for that girl. Little did I know I was going through the same thing.

I've seen three of them. The first one you are thinking of, was the first I saw and I can't recall her name. I had only been diagnosed a short while and I guess I shook my head in amazement that others went through all the doctors that I did.
The other one I think you are discussing is Doug, which I saw as the most recent one. I do remember that story and it matches to what you are saying.
I believe the one you are missing is the story of "Laura" who is the one we have posting here as well. Her story starts with her going to the Dominican Republic in desperation and extremely moving. Is that the one you are missing?
