Hi All
I just finished a Sunny Trip to Mexico to buy some ABX--
The whole trip was mostly uneventful- Was perty hot tho - 103 in the shade - and there was not much shade --
I went to about 8 pharmacies that are all in about one blocks distance --
The price of meds has gone up alittle- but it is still WAY Cheaper than in the US for most ABX --
Minocycline is more expencive in mexico than in the US -- Go figure --
While I was in one pharmacy a Really Fat American came in and asked for a medicine that started with a Z --
The pharmacists asked for the name and the man said it starts with a Z and it comes in a BOX --
I had been talking to the pharmacists for about 15 minutes before this man came in and he had been very helpful to me --
The pharmists asked What is the name of the ABX-
The man said it starts with a Z and it comes in a box-- only Louder this time -- and that he bought some a year or so ago
The pharmicists started looking in his books for something that started with a Z --
I suggested ZithroMax -and the man looked at me and said it An't No Max --
Then he looked at me and said something about stupid mexicans -like I was supposed to agree with him --
I just Looked him straight in the eye and did not say a word to him -- He looked alittle shocked -LOL
He walked off to make a phone call or something and he came back in a couple of minutes-
Saying -it starts with a Z and its in a Box --
The pharmacists was trying to help this guy but the phraze- it starts with a Z and it comes in a BOX is not much to go on no matter how Loud you say it --
In a minute or 2 I was done getting what I needed and I told the pharmacists- Adios - and headed for the door --
I have to tell you it was all I could do to keep from bursting out laffing at this Rude Stupid man --
Crossing back across the border there was a line of about 5000 people -- the longest I had ever seen -
Took about a hour or so -
The border guard asked what I was bringing back and I told him medicine-- He asked what it was for and I told him Lyme-
He said thats a perty big bag of medicine and I told him - Yep it is -
He asked Who is that for and I told him its for me -- I told him it is no fun taking this medicine but you got to do what you got to do --
He gave me a look like Sorry Dude and waved me threw -
Well I am going to eat my fill of Tacos and Hot green salsa and head back to Austin in a couple of days-- Adios --Jay
