So I decided to try Chlorella even though I'm doubtful that I have heavy metal issues.

I just want help with general detox, so I'm hoping it will still help.

I bought Sun Chlorella brand and have been taking 15 tablets (3g) per day. (This is the recommended dosage on the back of the box.)

I chose it because supposedly it is made through a patented process that removes the cell wall.

Any thoughts on what is a good beginner's dosage level for lyme?

I don't know if it's the Chlorella, but after my first few days I am having awful pains and headache...

Thanks for your input.

Hi ellie,

I don't know much about chlorella dosages, but I do not think you can take too much of it! Following the dosage on the box sounds like a good way to go. You can do a search for past chlorella threads and gigi's posts to see more on this topic.

It is possible that your headache and pains are a detox reaction. I had that the first time I took chlorella the following day.

Some of your questions might be answered in this discussion from last March. It would be best to read all the way through to the end for some of Gigi's comments.
