I've used Colostrum pills several times in the last week, and they really helped!! I was feeling so low, i felt my immune system was lower than ever and couldn't fight a cold. So i took 6 Colostrum pills, Symbiotics brand, as it says on the bottle, in illness or stress take 6 instead of the usual 2. Wow! In 15 minutes my health and energy were restored. They really, really helped. There are some things added to the pills like lactoferrin and olive leaf extract.

AHCC, which is an extract of Shiitake mushrooms.
Cat's Claw.
Resveratrol.
These all increase the white blood cells that kill bacteria (hopefully the Lyme bacteria!) and do other things as well.

the immune system is a 'system' because it's composed of many components. In Lyme, different aspects of your immune system are depressed while others are inflamed.
There are some herbs and supplements that can help with different problems that Lyme causes for your immune system.
Stephen Buhner's book Healing Lyme talks a lot about the different immune issues that come about with Lyme. It's such a complicated issue I suggest just buying the book and learning more rather than one of us trying to paraphrase it here (click on the 'herbal links ' threads in my signature to learn more about Lymenetters' experience with the Buhner Protocol, or click on the Amazon links on the left side of the screen to see the Amazon reviews of the book and buy it in a way that supports Lymenet.)
For immune system damage, he suggests using Cats' Claw and Japanese Knotweed (sold as a supplement called resveratrol), along with others such as eleutherococcus (siberian Ginseng) and many other herbs for immune system problems caused by different forms of Lyme.
Several other Lyme researchers have found Cats' Claw to be useful. Many Lyme patients report that they feel better while on Cats' Claw. whether it's a permanent repair to the damage done by Lyme or not, it does seem like very welcome symptom relief for some patients, and the book describes some of the research that supports this.

I buy Resveratrol at www.iherb.com. Source Naturals has two versions there, and it's the POLygonum part that you should look for on the label; the Buhner herb is Polygonum, 1 gram. The Source Naturals brand of Resveratrol has much more Polygonum than other brands of Resveratrol, which don't have as much Polygonum as Buhner recommends.

PS Polygonum cuspidatum is another name for Japanese Knotweed, mentioned above.
