Hi everyone, I am a newbie to this site. When I was first dx a couple of months ago, I was tested for both of these and both are positive.........I am curious how many of you have antibodies for both, and if so, what has your treatment plan been? I have not been to an llmd yet, but the more research I am doing, the more I think it is warranted. I am seeing a neurologist; he has put me on a 4 week round of doxy (200mg/day). I had just come off of two weeks of high dose amoxi and a 10 day round of doxy. I have not been tested for co-infections, and as bad as my anxiety and tachycardia have been, I also think that should be checked because from what I have read many of you who have Babs have severe anxiety....the neurologist has said if I am not "well" (his terma) by my next apt Aug 23 then he will send me to an ID.......don't know that I am even comfortable with that.

I tested positive for EBV in January this year and was told I had mono and now have tested positive again for Lyme, which I just found out this morning. Waiting to talk to the doctor. Not sure of the meaning of this. I posted a similar topic last week if you want to look at some of the responses.

Click on my name and in the upper right hand area, you will see a recent posts link. just click that and you will see my post.
