I have been using my EMEM5 for about one month now and seem to be getting worse-nerve pain off the chart dizziness and the list goes on. My husband said it is too soon to stop it but he doesn't have to live like this every day.
I don't really know how long it takes before you see something change for the better and I know everyone is different but I am afraid to be off antibiotics too long.
Does anyone have experience with this machine and can say that they got very sick first and then improved? If so how long did it take? Thank you!

How often and how long are you rifing. You may have to cut back on how often and how long you do it.

The first time I rifed I did it on 4 different frequencies for 15 seconds each for a total of one minute. I thought I was going to die for 15 days after.

It's been six months since I started rifing, and I'm still only at 80 seconds of rifing every two weeks. The last couple of times I got really sick for two to four days after, but then actually had some days that I felt better.

Make sure you detox really well too.

Oh I forgot to mention that I have the same machine as you.

If you are, like many others, also heavy metal toxic, rifing will definitely not make you feel better, because with the killing of the microbes, you are also setting heavy metals in motion, and you need to be prepared for that with mop-up agents to avoid recirculation. Just make sure you know what you are dealing with. Usually, it is not just Lyme.

Take care.

I am doing 2 minutes at four different frequencies but next time will cut it back to one minute at each frequency. I am taking chlorella about three times a week and lots of raw garlic. I am also drinking water with lemon and soon will be using DMSA to see how toxic I am with metals-not looking forward to adding this to the mix of horrible symptoms.
I have had all but two silver fillings replaced with composite and if metals are too high will begin chelation hopefully with someone who knows what they are doing. I have tried glutathione infusions but couldn't really tell if they were helping or not-neuro symptoms too variable.
Thanks GiGi for advice-I wish I knew like everyone else exactly what I was dealing with.
I know metals play a role in this because neuro symptoms got very bad after last amalgam removal even though I had oxygen and rubber dam during the procedure and detoxed after. I will keep hanging in there!

I have been "rifing" for 23 months. When I first started, I got so ill with herxs I was in bed most of the time.

I still herx.

I continue to get better.

I do other therapies as well to support the "rifing".

One month is hardly an indicator of the efficacy of the device.

Keep at it!

Sincerely,

Bug

I was told not to do rife for lyme closer than 12 days apart due to the liver/kidneys working to take out the toxic load.

the time you've mentioned, but did you only do it twice in a month's time? More often can be dangerous according to the mfg. of the machine. (I have the same machine)

I, too, did for 2 minutes each freq. - should've gone shorter and read up on the mop up stuff GiGi mentioned. I am waiting for my second treatment until I can read more about the mercury clean-up.

Oh, yeah, vertigo-like feelings revved up for me, too. That has cleared a bit over time.

I think I recall two years being the time frame for treatment, maybe three with signs of improvements within the early months. But it depends on coinfections, etc.

Please don't give up. Give it time - and time in between.

4 months and then I threw in the towel and went back on abx. I felt worse with every session. I know others who have done well by sticking with it. I am a whimp.

I guess I would ask myself, how long would I do antibiotics before I give up? Hiker

Hi amkdiaries [Smile]

Ditto ~ what hiker said...in my humble opinion one month is too soon to tell. Rife, like abx is a long term treatment.

I have a qoute from doug that says. (loose translation) "expect to feel worse the first 6 months.....and the first major improvement should be seen one year later."

But some of what he says has been true with me. I have an EMEM3D similar to your machine. I started out very slowly & ramped up over the year.

But a year & 1/2 later and I am still herxing hard durning my rife sessions. But I feel it's helping me to hold my ground. But I don't know if this would have been possible, had I not done 4 years of intensive TX with abx and reduced my germ load first...

To rife was a weighty decision for me & I bought mine on pure faith. I couldn't keep down my meds any longer so I choose rife.

I still herx hard which tells me I must still have a germ load worth killing off. I am down to every 2 weeks at present but it took a year & 1/2

Good luck on your journey to wellness in what ever path you choose

Blessings [Smile]
Dana

ps: Be very careful not to over rife. I rifed too long last sunday & am still trying to shake the herx....make sure you are doing something to detox

none of the above is medical advise...just my 2 cents

I have had a similar experience with Rifing as you have - only feeling worse over time.

I have found that Rifing activates my sensitivities to electromagnetic fields because it too is an electromagnetic field. I, therefore, question if Rifing is safe.

My only relief has come from a low iron/copper diet in conjunction with antibiotics. I honestly believe that these electromagnetic fields that surround us (60 hz alternating house current, cell phones, wireless, etc...) are the reason FOR chronic Lyme.

Please read 'Cross Currents'. In my opinion, the cure for Lyme is reducing these EMFs so that our bodies can receive the signals to heal, not increasing the chaos.

I've been using a rife machine for 4 years. When I first started using it I would have very bad herxing starting 24 hrs after treatment, that would last for days. Each freq was 1 1/2 minutes with there being about 7 to 9 freqs.

I would only use the rife every 7-10 days or until I felt myself regaining strength. In between times I would use many detox methods to help my body/organs clear out.

It took until 6-7th month to feel I was making some progess. It wasn't easy and it certainly has not been quick fix. One year into it the healing crisis became less and less severe.

Eighteen months into it, I started rife treating for strep, staph, malaria, yellow fever, e-coli etc, etc, etc. Then it all started getting so much better.

Don't use the "cured" word yet. But I can live my life as long as I don't over do things. That is most days, until life (s*@t) happens and then I fall back. But never into the pit again for long.

Pam
