I've just used Spring Valley from Walmart and works fine. A Rexall brand I used did not work as well--liver enzymes went up when using it, then back down when back on S.Valley's. (Rexall's might have been some of that Chinese ineffective fake stuff in the news lately...)

I use Maiden Barber, which has milk thistle and other liver support in it. It was recommended by a naturopathic doctor I saw once.

I use something called Liver Protect (http://www.xymogen.com/xy_products.asp?code=000032) from Xymogen (www.xymogen.com). My LLMD carried a whole bunch of their products. They are high quality, especially their fish oil.

However, I don't believe they are sold outside of doctor's offices.

Hi, been using CVS buy 1 get 1. Since live on 400.00 month really have to stretch the buck.Really good deal.

CVS,brand is standardized which means it is legal checked for some contents.
Many do not on 60 min. many well known herbs had NADDA, even melatonin's. Johns wart. Out of 7 only 1 had contents said.

Also I read somewhere you need to pulse or go off for 2 weeks a yr... Not sure why, was a nutritionist stated.
