I have been on minocycline , 50 mg, every other day for 3 weeks. I stopped that 2 days ago, and now am taking 500 mg levaquin. I just took my first pill 2 hours ago, and my pain is a little worse. Can this be a herx, that soon? I changed my llmd, who diagnosed me with bart. So I started the levaquin, and will begin biccillin shots next week. I am going to go through hell right? Jenin

Nah, Hell is eternal, the herxes will only seem that way!
Could be a herx already. Just keep telling yourself "I'm killing bugs," and you'll get through it just fine!

Yep I usually start herxing in a hour or 2 when starting a new med--
Like Six said just keep thinking that you are killing the bugs- and it dose make it easier to live threw -- Jay --

I only herxed a few times at the very beginning when I started taking doxy and after I increased my dose from 200 to 600mg. Yes, I herxed after an hour or so every time in the form of chills and internal vibration feelings.
