i am up to three capsules a day of the susan ambrosino protocol. you're supposed to take 2 capsules three times a day but i'm not there yet.

i have developed pretty bad air hunger. i find myself literally gasping for breath.

my face, no, my head feels hot and sweaty and i'm having tingling in my arms.

i have lost my appetite and am not sleeping. the melatonin seems to have lost it's ability to work. i'm only taking 1.5 mg.

since i've been on this protocol for three weeks, first week at one pill a day, second week at two pills a day, then this last week at 3 per day, do you think it could be a herx?

or could it be the combination of andrographis and artemsia together, since it's one pill?

i've read on here not to take them together as it might be too strong for some people. one person said (i think i'm remembering correctly) that the air hunger from these put them in the ER.

so herx or combination of the two? whad dya think?

It could be either Randibear.

I didn't seem to have TOO much of a problem with those two together, but when I had COPTIS and Artemisia annua at the same time I had big time problems. I had ONE capsule of Andrographis on the same day as the Coptis too. I have taken Coptis without the other two and did okay. And I am now taking Andrographis without either of the other two and am doing okay too.

But, again, IT could be either.

I don't believe in those combo things. Just cost more money IMHO.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

Jim. [Cool]

Be careful with the combination, it's a powerful combination.

I took andro and artemiSININ together, and ended up in the ER. I do believe a bad herx can kill.

Just lower the amount and add lots of cleansers, chlorella is MUST in my opinion.

I've been where you are. Try to expire slowly when it happens, not inspire madly (or you can get total body paralisy like me, because of hyperventilation).

In no way I was going to play with these two potent killers. Strong herxes are hell. Go slow, my opinon.
