Hi everyone,

Recently I started flagyl to hit those nasty cysts, and I noticed a significant increase in my anxiety.

I was wondering if this is a herx reaction or a reaction to the flagyl?

I'm pretty sure it's common w/ all sorts of treatments...herbs and abx.

I got bad anxiety all my life even without any treatment. Once I started it though, it got a lot worse.

My anxiety on Flagyl was so intense I thought I was dying and I'd only taken 3/4 pf one pill over the course of three days. I stopped and will never use it again. My doc says some people just cannot take Flagyl.

Flagyl can cause sudden severe depression and/or suicidality in lYme patients. Be careful!!!

And anxiety goes hand in hand with depression.

I had to take several months of flagyl following surgery many years ago....not knowing I had Lyme!!!

I thought I was going to die from the anxiety and depression! You may need to take an anti-depressant!
