Thats is until yesterday. I was taking amoxy and llmd switched me to doxy and bactrim. I only took one dose of each the night before and woke up feeling worse. I didn't take any more bactrim but am still taking doxy. I forgot how bad I had felt just a few months ago. Could this be a herx this soon. A lot of my symptoms are coming back that I haven't had in a while like chest pain, jaw pain, backache, headache etc...

Called llmd office (they are great) and they said to start with just doxy for now and then add the other. I just really feel worse and am getting discouraged. I was almost functional and the progress was slow so I didn't realize how many sx had improved.

Thanks for your input.....

It sounds like a herx to me. Any time I start on new meds or increase the dosage of old ones, I feel worse before I feel better.

Sorry you're feeling bad. This is reaching the bugs that were hiding from the Amoxy. [Smile]

Everytime I start a new ABX, I fall back down in the ditch for a while
