The doc said I could check off whatever I wanted. I think it will be covered because I have regular Medicare. I think I'm going to try the southern regional panel since I lived in VA for a number of years and was negative on my last IGeneX test. The southern regional panel includes: Babesia microti IgG and IgM Babesia FISH HME IgG and IgM Bartonella IgG and IgM What about ehrlichia and anaplasma and rickettsia? I can't think tonight. These are mentioned as other tests that can be ordered, but I don't want to duplicate anything that is in this regional panel. Thanks!

I think that should cover it!! Ehrlichiosis would likely have already been knocked down and out if you took plenty of doxy. -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!

MDL labs can also check for all the infections and they are covered by insurance.

Thanks! I think they are covered with either lab because I have straight Medicare. I only took minocycline for a short time though - like maybe 3 weeks total. Mino was killing something, but something else took off instead.
