How do I do this?

Doxy dose 200 mg 2 X /day

Amoxicilllin 1000 mg/4 X day?

I started yesterday and I did Doxy 100/2x
and Amoxicillin 500/4x

How quick is too quick to increase the dose? I knw, it's subjective. Still, if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. I want to get to the full dose quickly but without going to quickly.

Personally, I'd have started with the doxy at 100 2 times per day, then within a day or two moved to full dose.

After 4 days on the doxy, I'd do the same with the amoxy.

If you start the meds one at a time, you will know which one you're reacting to if you have an adverse reaction. If you're not, I'd ramp up as fast as I could tolerate. Surprise those bugs!

Hi Lily

Have you asked your LLMD how to ramp up slowly?

So many different ways to do this. I would for sure give him/her a call

Good luck with your treatment [group hug]
