I can't answer your question about doctors, but want to recommend Zanaflex to help with the muscle pain. It's amazing how well it works, and I've tried many many things.

It's not a substitute for Lyme treatment, if you have Lyme. But it's worth taking care of the pain while you treat the Lyme.

Zanaflex is a prescription drug, you do need an rx. It's a muscle relaxer and anti-spasmodic.

Sore neck and shoulders was one of my first symptoms along with muscle twitching. I got much better with abx treatment. Good luck!

around here stiff painful shoulders tend to be babesiosis as much if not more than Lyme so i would make sure you are evaluated for all TBDs- yes, get a LLMD asap and get into treatment-

I had those symptoms and as someone else said, all gone with abx tx!!!

Take care-
