Anyone doing Dr Zhang..went off abx after a year..symptoms coming back. Or it's yeast die-off or something else.

But anyways, I am thinking of doing the herb route. Anyone do well with this protocol?

Thanks

My wife started last week. She's been on doxy for 2 months before starting Dr.Z. Now doxy + Dr.Z Herbs.

It's going very well so far - her most annoying symptom of chest tightness diminished greatly very soon after the herbs were started. She's starting the herbs at a very low dose and ramping up, starting on Dr.Z's babesia module. The herx she's currently going through is pretty mild - a slight feverish feeling.

We met him for our appointment - it looks like he has a very deep knowledge of this disease, and the herbal treatment required to get rid of it (I also recommend reading his book if you're interested in treatment).

I have a good friend who is treating under Dr Z. I just e-mailed her this morning and she reports she is doing great. He has recently changed her herbs to target Babesia and she has never felt better.

She rides horses too and is actually training a young horse. Young horses are physically challenging and not for the weak.

So, based on her experience, it sounds like a good thing.

Yup- the Dr. Zhang Babesia protocol of Artemisiae Formula is awesome, does amazing things for people!!! Don't know people who did as well with his Lyme treatment BUT the Babesia formula is VERY potent and has helped many, many people I know!!!

Dr. Zhang is, in my opinion, the greatest source of an herbal protocol.

His Babs treatment had me feeling like a million. I did well, but not as well as I would have liked, on the Lyme protocol. Due to L-form, maybe?

Think it was because I was negligent in taking the A#3 and probably the above.

Hope to start my daughter on it soon.

Shoney,

It is for Babs which he does first, as it should be.

Good luck--you should do well.

Shoney,

I can't comment on the Zhang protocol done after abx since my doctor put me on it as soon as I got my diagnosis, so have been on it with the abx for just over 11 months now.

But I just wanted to say that the four Zhang herbs you mentioned are the exact four that I started out with and I know that my doctor will probably continue on the Zhang route after we stop the abx.

You asked if that protocol was for babs or lyme. My understanding was that it was some of both. The artemisiae is the anti babesia herb.

The Circulation P is suppose to help promote healing of the inflamed tissues and helps blood infusion to them.

Allicin has so many uses like digestant, anti-inflamatory, detoxifying, and the list is extremely long. Suppose to be good for just about anything that ails you but doesn't smell good. Hahahaha

AI#3 is used for herxing but also for joint pain, rashes, autoimmune reaction, and allergies.

For whatever reason, Dr. Zhang believes these four in combination work very well together and since this is so far over my head, I need to take his word for it.

Good luck and please keep us posted on how it goes.

Cathy

Yes Shoney,

Have done both the entire time I've been on treatment for the last 11 months. My LLMD is actually an LLND and he's one that has his name on the back of Dr. Zhang's book, so I'm sure that's part of why he has his patients doing both.

I'm holding up fairly well and definitely worlds better than when I first started, but still a ways to go. Hard to say what has helped me most though, since as I said, I've been doing both under his direction since day one.
