My friend was just bit by something in the garden and had an unusal marking on her abdomen, unfortunatley she didn't take a picture. I suggested she take doxy for precautionary measure. Do you folks agree? How much dosage and for how long? Thanks for any input you can offer Laura -------------------- Fall down seven times, get up eight ~Japanese proverb

What does the area look like? IF it's a tick bite, *I* would want 400mg of doxy per day for 6-8 wks. Not sure I'd take that regimen for a bite I know nothing about. I don't know. Did she describe what the bitten area looks like?? -------------------- --Lymetutu-- Opinions, not medical advice!
