do any of you know if taking acidophilus kills anything and did anyone herx after taking it? i think i herxed and wanted to know if it actually is killing any bugs, and if it could cause a herx, thanks for any info

I don't think Acidophilus "kills" anything, it puts back the microflora needed for digestion.

I take 400mg of Doxy a day. It kills all the bad bacteria and the good too. So this "millions of organisms" in a pill, helps me replenish the good
enzymes i need for a healthy intestional flow...
lol...if i don't take it i wanna [puke]

Acidophilis is just restoring good balance to digestive tract, it can kill other bacteria/yeast by way of starving them out.

My experience is I herx with or without acd. But my life is much better with it because it replaces the flora that the abx destroys. It doesn't make sense to not be on it.

Yes I do herx from it!!!!!!!!

I get very tired and I have to lay down. I also get increased muscle twitches.

If you're taking THREElac you could herx. It contains yeast killers.

Most acidophilus wouldn't make "most" people herx.

I did hex on it several times before. Now, no, probably the bad guys in the GI have been get rid of.
