I had come across a website that someone had in their post a while back (atleast a year). I think I was either in this forum or the seeking doctor forum. I have searched "md rating" here and in seeking doctor and could did not find it.
I have done a google search and all but two of the websites that rate MDs cost $!! The two that were free did not have any of the doctors I was looking for.
Wish I could remember the post that gave the free md rating website I saw it in last year. Any help would be appreciated.

You can find also out many details simply by going to your state's website for your (state) Medical Association or the American Medical Association. Or just call your local Med. Assoc. and ask.
You can find out the training and specialties of the doctor you are considering, and, if any action has been brought, if it was a legitimate complaint - and then what happened
You can also ask members of the support groups of the area you live in about others experiences.
You might also be able to schedule a short phone consult with the doctor so you can have a clue about their demeanor or if they can treat your particular concern - and how they might.
they may not be able to be very specific in a phone introduction, but you can get a good idea.
I've done this several times and it really helped. Most have offered five minutes as gratis. I've offered to pay for fifteen minutes a time or two, but it was not necessary. Some offices just won't do it at all, though
