Taking a break until the MP folks go away, and the good will returns generally among everybody else, and people stop fighting as if their ego's and lives are at stake about "my way or the highway."

I find this board useful so I'll be back in a while but for now I'm unbookmarking it and won't read it. It's gotten too negative.

I can't post an article about Vitamin D in Scientific American (sorry that those unregistered couldn't read it--normally I would go find it full text and post it as I try to do for others who request articles)...and an MP advocate comes onto my thread to post a negative article in "rebuttal".

I can't mention that I'm getting my Vitamin D tested as I hope to supplement, as I know others for whom it has been remarkably helpful, and an MP person comes on predicting I'll have elevated 1,25 etc. and somebody else warns me not to do it etc.

I don't do abx and I'm glad for those who do and improve but I can't post a mindfulness meditation without some people being sarcastic and making jokes about it. Yes others appreciate it.

The board needs to calm down and people need to try to help each other.

See you in a month or two. Happy holidays!

I agree, I am barely staying afloat myself, Oxygenbabe. Rest and smell the roses for a little bit.

Take care.

Good hollidays, Oxy!

I just add that I keep taking Vit D and that I'm entering my 3rd month symptom-free.

Some improve without it (I don't doubt some of the MP testimonials), some improve (and go into remission) with it.

Hope you come back!

Still too new here. What the heck is an MP? I'm having a bi@#$ of a time figuring out the abbreviations. For awhile I thought sx was sex not symptoms and I thought I fell into a bad link or something. [Eek!]

MP is the marshall protocol. too exhausted to link to it right now but if you google it i'm sure it'll take you right to the site.

and oxygenbabe, i agree. i'm staying here only because i need the information provided by certain folks (including you!), but getting to it feels like sifting through wreckage with all this fighting going on, and all these people coming into alternative posts with their supposedly well-intentioned 'rebuttals.'

i wish you well. take good care, and happy holidays.

O2babe, believe me, I understand your feelings. I'm taking on a small project that will leave me less time to be on here real soon, too.

But don't leave and don't delete that bookmark just yet - just stop by once in awhile - there are still lots of good folks around here.... besides, what if you miss something really good? [Smile]

Warmly,
