Some days my stomach is ok, other days I wake up with the dry heaves and it's downhill from there.
Anyone get increased nausea with herxing-or is my stomach just trashed?

All the time but much worse with elevated liver enzymes (not to suggest that is a problem for you). Also, often when starting new abx. I find papaya enzymes are helpful.
Make sure to eat with abx if you have this reaction unless of course your doctor tells you otherwise.
Hope you feel better soon. Terry

Anyone else get increased nausea with herxing-then have days when you feel ok?
How do you know if it's yeast?

Shoney,
I definitely can relate to this one. I've found that my best relief for treating the symptom is lots of lots of ginger tea.
As far as whether it's herx or yeast or what, I really don't know. I have an appointment with my LLMD on Tuesday and will be running it by him, but since I had suffered from these bouts of nausea before my diagnosis, I just roll with it, thinking it could be herxing.
Good luck to you and feel better. It's not fun when it's happening. I do know what you mean about so darn sick one day and then the next, it's like nothing happened. Go figure!

Hey Cathy, What kind of ginger tea do you use please? Fresh or tea bags?
Thanks, Terry

Terry,
I'm sure fresh would be wonderful but when you are so darn sick, you aren't feeling like putting the effort into anything, if you know what I mean.
So I ended up trying some tea bags that I had picked up at the Healthfood store. These in particular were Traditional Medicinals, Organic Ginger tea bags.
I would microwave a cup of water, put the tea bag in and was amazed at how effective it was, since I swear I wasn't really a "believer".
So now, everytime I start feeling that queezie feeling, it's ginger tea for me and it gets me over the hump.
