I've only had experience with Biaxin. It's actually a med that really didn't give me much of a herx. I had high heart rate (tachycardia) from my Lyme though, and it's gotten better since tx. Whenever I'm having a herx, I notice that my heart rate seems a little higher again, but only lasts a few days or so.
Is your heart rate just now all of the sudden rapid after taking these meds? It could be a herx, but not entirely sure, of course.

"clindamycin and quinine."
Isnt this one of the babs protocol. I dont know how high your heartrate or bloodpressure has gone up but I would suggest you call your dr and let him know the curent numbers.
I have babs (but am using different meds to treat it) and my heart rate has gone up...
actually my blood pressure has also gone up but it was quite low so the increase has put it at normal for me.
I also have been trying to find a way to stop losing weight... which isnt easy if your avoiding carbs
I would call your dr.... it might be a herx but it is better for your dr to decide.
