I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced facial acne from taking cat's claw.
I am following 4 weeks of abx with cat's claw and wormwood and have started breaking out like a teenager. [shake]
I am 42 and had a hysterectomy 2 years ago. I stopped taking hormone replacements about 4 months ago because I thought they were the reason that I felt so bad...found out it was Lyme!
Has anyone else had this problem?

Yo Ho in southern Merryland!

Welcome!

I am NOT a doctor.. but I do make a mighty fine cream of crab soup... and my suggestion today would be...

When killing off the bad boys in your system they need to be buried somewhere. Your breakout.. also at the one month traditional "herx" mark... MIGHT lead us to think that could be the case here.

Toxins must escape... and sometimes this is how they do it.

Might give the doc a ding a ling and see if they have any answers.

In the meantime... check side effects of the med.. and also wash wash wash.

IF toxins are exiting through the largest organ in your body.. your skin... you need to wash them away so they aren't sitting on your tender skin causing problems.

In the meantime.. maybe stock up on some Clearasil?

Yes.. I KNOW... to the guy in the ice cream store.. I'm just another dip. Wish I had better answers that would take away your troubles.

Lettuce no how it goes.. ok?

My skin has been breaking out more since I've been sick, I haven't been able to decide if it's due to the toxins or to stress....or maybe even due to hormones (I'm 41 and have been sick for 3-1/2 years).

I've been taking cat's claw since January 2006, but I can't remember if I broke out before then.

Hello [Smile]

Yes, I take Cat's Claw and every once in a while I do break out.

Not bad though maybe a pimple here and there.
