My burning pain was so severe, my knees turned red from the heat. I was in excrutiating pain, asking God to take my life, for many months, of course, before I knew this was lyme.
Now, since I began treatment, my burning, shooting, stabbing pain has subsided greatly. I have never used any drugs, but I think the epson salt baths are good.
I think abx and supps and time should help much with this. I feel with you though, it is scary, and very painful. Jenin

Many people with burning have Bartonella infection. Have you run your test for Bart?
