I took Coral Calcium this morning, mostly because I know I'm not getting anywhere near the right amount with milk allergies, and even my teeth were looking transparent prior to taking it.

After taking it this morning though, I got the worst headache since sitting under fluorescent lights at my doctor's office a couple of months ago.

I had a total black-out with my memory this morning (prior to taking the Coral Calcium), and it was only worse after I took it.

I couldn't for the life of me remember what day it was, how I ended up with a heater in my living room, what my neighbor looks like, etc... It was scary actually.

I can't even remember if it was a one-sided or two-sided headache, but right now it is one-sided (left).

My ex had a brain tumor. My mom had a lung tumor that had spread to her brain. Do you see where I'm going here?

I don't know how they would ever diagnose me if I had one. I would never be able to tolerate the electromagnetic field of the MRI or CT scanner. Plus, there is no way anybody is cutting open my head.

I can also taste the Coral Calcium in my mouth - still. It tastes like chalk. On the bright side, my teeth are nice and tight now. I also have zero appetite.

Consequently, I slept all day. Anybody else try Coral Calcium?

I have not tried coral calcium--heard it is harder to absorb than calcium citrate. Hiker53

I took Coral Calcium for a long time. I took it to alleviate my acidity. 1 tsp full in a glass of water.

I never had a negative reaction. It usually did the trick for the acidity. I can't think it would have such a quick impact on your teeth.

A quick Google search found many sites selling Coral Calcium that claim it will help headaches. I didn't find anything saying it causes headaches.

Maybe you are allergic to it? I read somewhere (awhile back) that Coral Calcium is not from coral reefs, that would be against the law to harvest, but that it actually comes from limestone. I don't know if that is accurate, but you might call the manufacturer to ask what the source is.

It sounds like maybe there was something going on with you BEFORE you took the Coral Calc.

Maybe it would be a good idea to wait for a day when you feel more 'normal', and then try the Coral Calc again.

I don't think I'd read too much into one incident, especially when you didn't feel quite right to begin with.

Thanks everybody!

I took a little today again, and it's making me tense today. No headache today, but I still have memory problems and no focus. Yesterday I took 1/2 teaspoon, but today I only took 1/4 teaspoon.

It really did tighten my teeth up quickly though. My teeth are still tight today. Nobody believes me, but my body reacts without any delay whenever you give it a foreign chemical. If it comes from limestone, maybe it's killing off all my yeast?

Could be an allergic reaction.

Also, check any 'fillers' in the product; I would suspect those before I would suspect the product, especially if it makes you feel 'tense'.

I took the powdered version of it, so there aren't any fillers.

It says on the bottle that it alkalanizes the body, so that's why I thought maybe it was killing yeast. With how I feel right now, I just think it's clogging my arteries and blood vessels.

I think I'd rather have loose teeth.
