I'm concerned about an intensification of my throat symptom. Since last March (prior to beginning treatment), I've noticed a tightness in my throat.
This morning, I noticed that, when I touch the area immediately underneath my adams apple, it is very sore--the muscles feel sore. I can drink and eat fine...but the soreness is concerning.
I've also felt more fatigued and achy in the last few days. I'm still taking Doxy and Rifampin, along with numerous supplements.
Anyone have a similar experience?

Hopefully it will go away and have been a passing virus!!!

Sounds like a swollen Lymphode. There is a ton of them there.
You could try a warm compress a few time a day to see if it helps.
I have tons of swollen lymphnodes and I notice the sicker I feel the bigger and more painful they get.
Another thing to consider would be a issue like a nodule on your Thyroid.
Good Luck Melissa

One of my main symptoms has been throat tightness, presures, feeling like something is poking my throat below my adam apple and around the whole throat area. Also, back of throat/sinus type discomfort. Nothing was found, with scope, imaging. Finally, after 6 weeks on IV Doxy, and now 2 weeks of IV Zith I have a lessening of this feeling considerably.
