My continued use of antibiotics, after five years of treatment, has hurried along the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease I am having.

But my lyme is completely relapsing and i cannot live without the antibiotics.

I find myself in the worst catch-22. I am pacing the floors and do not know what action to take as either lyme or bowel symptoms navigate my misery.

How many of you were able to get off antibiotics and use herbal protocols even though your lyme had been completely relapsing, and what methods have you used to maintain a certain threshold of wellness.

I'm sorry you are so miserable and confused as to what to do next. Must be terrible place to be!

Why don't you try Rifing? I know "randibear" has had nothing but trouble with her digestive system ever since resorting to the herbal route.

That and maybe Bicillin too?? or IV?

Antibiotics took away my IBS- I echo what LymeToo said- herbs can mess up your guts as much as abx!!!

I would try the IM BIcillin or IM Rocephin!!!
Bypass the guts completely-

And do a lot of healthy probiotics to get your guts back in shape!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are many alternatives to abx and treatment of lyme & company. I have been off abx for 4 yrs and using rife, body treatments such as massage and lymph drainage, supplement and meds to control some symptoms, chiro, detox etc.

I haven't won the war yet, but I'm fighting a good fight. Looking at the things I call & company today. I've had several new tick and spider bites in the few couple years that are causing me some issues.

Just had a colonoscopy last week and many tests done the last couple weeks to determine what's going on with the inflammatory bowel disease sx that I can't get on top of. Won't know anything for a few days about all the tests.
