I started on 200mg doxycycline, twice daily, just 48 hours ago...and my neuro symptoms have kicked up significantly today. Is it possible that this is a herx reaction already (only 48 hours on doxy)?

Yes, absolutely! I did within one day of starting the same amount of doxy. I had increased brain fog and spaciness within one day of taking 400 mg/doxy.
Doxy was a great treatment for me, and I hope it works well for you too! I knew from my reaction that it was really killing some neurological bug, and I actually felt much better, with some symptoms, in two weeks on this amount of doxy. (which is much quicker than most, I know).

wxrock, yes I also would react within hours of new abx treatment. Watch out for day 4 or 5 also. It might send you down. Then 21-30 will be another.
Some react in different time spans. Some within just a few hours, 24 hrs, 48 hrs?? It justs seems to be all over the board with everyone experiencing this.
What are you doing to make sure your body is properly detoxing?
