I had 4+ yeast in sample & am treating Bb. Sick for many years.

I've been taking oil of oregano, caprylic acid, samento, licorice, burbur, multi-vitamins, & other supplements. Also, detox foot pads, one treatment sauna and ionic foot bath(so far), detox tea. I'm on blood type diet, no sugar, etc.

After 2-3 weeks on substances listed above I experienced severe loose bowel movements, severe stomach pain, etc for 24 hours plus - then seemed to be ridding myself of mucus/bile load of intestine wall every time I went to the bathroom for the next 24 hours. (sorry, it's disgusting!)

Now I've got hives, raised bumps, similar to mite bites along hips, inner thighs, back of neck, back, etc. (places that get warm at night)It is spreading. They itch - especially at 3 in the morning. With detoxing I don't want to take Benedryl. Have taking Alka-seltzer Gold for tummy.

I did a search on the site - couldn't find much. Can anyone help? I'm hoping it's a detox.

I read one thing online that said as yeast breaks apart and dies it gives off toxins and may cause rash, but haven't found anything about what the rash is like, what to do with rash, etc. Anyone got a link on yeast rashes?

For now I am only taking supplements and burbur, to give my system a break. Wondering what else to do.

Any help appreciated.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays

Thanks,
Marcelle

Hi Marcelle -- merry xmas to you --
I have these itchy red bumps too, but for me, I think it's due to being chemically sensitive and reacting to surface chemicals. Do you react at all after touching things?

Thanks for the reply. I am chemically sensitive to smells and some fabrics, like tags on clothes. But these hives seem to be everywhere, although it started along panty elastic band.

Do you have a cut / live Christmas tree in the house ? Preservative in the water ?

Any new scented candles or air fresheners ?

Caprylic Acid was very hard on me. Oregano has very strong action, too.

If you have some stinging nettle (in capsule or tincture) that is helpful for allergy symptoms. But I would take it just a little with a few cups of warm water. Water can be very good, and as you sense, give your body a good rest from as much as you can.

Are you getting enough protein to help your liver make glutathione? Without enough glutathione, it simply can't detox.

Average adult protein need is 60 - 75 grams a day, depending upon body structure.

The GI symptoms, I hope, you can discuss with a doctor. Even if you get some good replies here, it's a guessing game.

I know you may not have a doctor to guide you in all this, but from advice from those whom I've worked with - they would say to stop EVERYTHING, including all detox measures. They'd say just eat well and drink warm water - then maybe add just ONE allergy support measure. Just ONE. Maybe for a week or more.

Detox can be very hard on a body. Going slowly can help it not be so in shock over it.

In an emergency, benadryl may not be so bad. You need sleep and relief. they have a dye-free one now. You'd need to make sure it is free of aspartame, though.

Putting out a call for more assistance for me and Marcelle, if any of you have some more info!

Me too -- the hives started along the elastic strip of pants and spread all over the bod. So there is a reaction going on to petrochemicals, etc in the clothing. I have lost the ability to touch most clothes and I am really missing them. Well, I didn't quite mean it like that -- I mean, I am still wearing some, but they are the old ones and they are wearing out!

What do we do? I can't touch new clothes!

Has anyone found that detoxing of some kind helps this level of sensitivity?

And anti-itch remedies?

I recall when I first took clindamycin that my symptoms went down, including chemical sensitivity. So ultimately, this may mean finding out the next treatments for the Lyme. But I'm allergic to about every med, and will have to be testing remedies, like the Buhner herbs, etc to see whether anything's going to work.

I know this is pretty stupid,,,but I had hives as a reaction to meds once. Doc gave me a couple RX creams for it,,,didnt work!!!

BEST thing that gave me MOST relief was simple baking soda on a wet wash cloth and made a paste and as long as it stayed on HEAVEN sent!!

Cant overdose baking soda so apply as needed!! You can even bathe in it!! And then apply a paste slurry to affected areas!!

Pretty basic,,,sure YOU probably thought of THAT before,,,but the benadryl doesnt hurt either!!still -just don--
