Been on 90 mg daily for at least a couple years; it helps me enormously.

One doctor wanted to put me on this because, as he put it, "It's all in your head. Everything comes back normal. I strongly suggest you take something if it is offered (Cymbalta)."
With a presentation like that, would you take it?

Hi I had seizures after three days on it It might not have been the Cymbalta and just the LYME but it scared me enough never to try it again. Then again I am an anti-depressant nighmare....I could not take Zoloft either. I just take Ativan when I start to freak out. I am happy that it has helped you.

I take this for nerve pain, too... It helps some - and I'm willing to take any help I can get on that symptom!
I take 60 mg a day, and have for a couple of years, too.
Have heard that it's hard to get off of it, though - and that it doesn't work for everyone.
Glad it's helping you, too!

I had a bad reaction to Cymbalta also. My detox test showed that my body can't process that type of medicine very well. I was having this wierd "freezing" problem. I couldn't move for moments at a time.
Very scary.
