The Rediscovery of a Super Antibiotic?
Colloidal silver appears to be a powerful, natural antibiotic and preventative against infections. Acting as a catalyst, it reportedly disables the enzyme that one-celled bacteria, viruses and fungi need for their oxygen metabolism. They suffocate without corresponding harm occurring to human enzymes or parts of the human body chemistry. The result is the destruction of disease-causing organisms in the body and in the food.

How It Works
The presence of colloidal silver near a virus, fungus, bacterium or any other single celled pathogen disables its oxygen metabolism enzyme, its chemical lung, so to say. Within a few minutes, the pathogen suffocates and dies, and is cleared out of the body by the immune, lymphatic and elimination systems. Unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, which destroy beneficial enzymes, colloidal silver leaves these tissue-cell enzymes intact, as they are radically different from the enzymes of primitive single-celled life. Thus colloidal silver is absolutely safe for humans, reptiles, plants and all multi-celled living matter.

Chronic or Serious Conditions
1 teaspoon of 5 ppm. colloidal silver equals about 25 micrograms (mcg.) of silver. 1 - 4 teaspoons per day (25 - 100 mcg.) is generally considered to be a "nutritional amount" and is reported to be safe to use for extended periods of time. Amounts higher than this are generally considered "therapeutic amounts" and should only be used periodically.

In cases of illness, natural health practitioners have often recommended taking double or triple the "nutritional amount" for 30 to 45 days, then dropping down to a smaller maintenance dose. Amounts from 1 - 32 ounces per day have reportedly been used in acute conditions.

If your body is extremely ill or toxic, do not be in a hurry to clear up everything at once. If pathogens are killed off too quickly, the body's five eliminatory channels (liver, kidneys, skin, lungs and bowel) may be temporarily overloaded, causing flu-like conditions, headache, extreme fatigue, dizziness, nausea or aching muscles. Ease off on the colloidal silver to a smaller amount and increase your distilled water intake. Regular bowel movements are a must in order to relieve the discomforts of detoxification. Resolve to reduce sugar and saturated fats from the diet, and exercise more. Given the opportunity, the body's natural ability to heal may amaze you.

Colloidal Silver in Advance of Illness?
When the possibility of germ exposure is higher, colloidal silver can be taken orally each day or applied topically when there is a skin problem. It's like having a second defense system. The silver acts only as a catalyst and is stabilized. It is non-toxic, except to one-cell plants and animals, and is non-addicting. It also apparently kills parasites because they have a one cell egg stage in their reproductive cycle.

Older folks reportedly feel younger because their body energies are used for other uses than constantly fighting disease. Digestion has also been reportedly better. Medical research has shown that silver promotes more rapid healing, with less scar tissue, even in the case of severe burns. Successes have been reported in cases that previously have been given up by established doctors. Colloidal silver is tasteless and won't sting even a baby's eyes, and won't upset your stomach.

More Than 650 Diseases Helped
The following is a partial list of the more than 650 diseases that colloidal silver has been reputed to be successful against: acne, AIDS (Reference 8), allergies, appendicitis, arthritis, athlete's foot, bladder inflammation, blood parasites, blood poisoning, boils, burns, cancer (References 2, 4, 7), candida, cholera, colitis, conjunctivitis, cystitis, dermatitis, diabetes (Reference 1), dysentery, eczema, fibrositis, gastritis, gonorrhea, hay fever, herpes, impetigo, indigestion, keratitis, leprosy, leukemia, lupus, lymphangitis, Lyme disease, malaria, meningitis, neurasthenia, parasitic infections: viral, fungal and bacterial pneumonia, pleurisy, prostate, pruritus ani, psoriasis, purulent opthalmia, rhinitis, rheumatism, ringworm, scarlet fever, septic conditions of the eyes, ears, mouth, and throat, seborrhea, septicemia, shingles, skin cancer, staphylococcus and streptococcus infections, stomach flu, syphilis, thyroid, tuberculosis, tonsillitis, toxemia, trachoma, all forms of virus, warts, whooping cough, yeast infection, stomach ulcer, canine parovirus and other veterinary uses, and fungal and viral attacks on plants. Simply spray diluted silver on the leaves and add to the soil.

You may want to do a search of this message board about this topic.

There have been numerous posts regarding colloidal silver.

I tried a couple of very good quality brands & it was totally ineffective for me.

Don't necessarily believe the hype.

I've had Lyme for over 10 years.

I think if it was a cure for Lyme, there wouldn't be so many people posting to this message board.

Our family and a few others in the area are using some locally manufactured and patented, but still not yet commerially produced silver with samento and other supplement. We are all having very good healing success after abx treatment failure and relapse.

Silver can also be combined with abx treatment.
The products we are using are colloidal and nano silvers and gold. Our LLMD's are all on board with us using these products, and pleased with the successes.

Not all silver products are the same. It's always good to be able to energy test any drugs and supplements to make sure it resonates with your body.

This junk comes up every so often around here.

It does not work!

Got that there model lady?

In the future whenever you come accross something "NEW". It is probably not "NEW" to the rest of us here.

Please utilize either the newbie links or the search to find what you probably need to know!

Just a friendly suggestion.

I have used colloidal silver in the past before I knew I had Lyme. I only used good quality, commercially prepared preparations at recommended dosages. The people who turn blue are usually making their own and drinking large quantities.

In the end, it did not work. I don't think it did nothing as it helped other infections I had (mastitis), but it did not make my Lyme Disease better.

If I could get nothing else, I would probably use it. I would be more likely to use Cowden Herbs if I did not want to use regular abx.

In fact, I am on several of the Cowden Herbs along with my abx.

A complete waste of time...and money. If Silver worked, as noted, there not be a "Lymenet".

Actually I am glad Silver does NOT work!

I took so called nano silver for several months.

In my opinion it worked the same way as other abx.
I had normal herxes when increased my dose.
It was like after tetracykline.

My prostatitis was CURED (it has been a year since the last time I had this pesky symptom, whoever had it knows how painful this condition can be), or most likely cured. But I don't know, perheps it was caused by some other germs - not Bb.

In my case Lyme was improved but not cured and at this time I try other treatments. By the way, tetracykline didn't cure me either.

I may come back to silver again; particularly if my prostatitis returns.

I should maybe add that I am continuing my previously interrupted life and I am no longer as sick a few years ago.

Electronic made silver is cheap to make about three dollars a gallon.
These people here buy theres, thats why it didnt work.
Many people take silver,it has not cured my lyme,it has sure helped,it has cured severe poision ivy, ringworm, yeast infections. And gave me alot of energy. It is great for pain
Now i only come to this site once in awhile,as i have some of my life back.

Hospitalized,numerous times,went from bedridden,3 years with a als diagnosis,back to somewhat of a life.

A person cannot make nano silver at home.

It is made with 11000 V and requires a special skills and equipment.

Home made silver will not get absorbed to the blood and has silver salts that may make you blue.

well i dont got time to argue with someone who has never attempted to make there own,or read everything about it.
If you use .9999 silver rod and good distilled water, you are not going to turn blue.
I dont have time to argue.
Maybe ill stop back in another few months if i get time.
Every time i do i see the same negativity people here.
I dont have time,im answereing a post and giving a url with facts.
I didnt sayit cured lyme but it kills yeast and helps in alot of other ways, and maybe it does kill lyme and all the problems are just after affects.
These everyday people who come here and post abstracts from 10 years ago are helping nobody, some who use silver dont even come here as they are better and dont even want to here the word lyme.
The other half here need psychiatric meds and a life.
They need to get a life.
Post what you want doubt if i will ever see it.as i only stop in once in a while.

I can't help but laugh at anyone who states silver does not work. Do your research and you will find hundreds of published medical uses for silver in Europe and America from 1900-1940. To say it doesn't work is to deny the existence of a tremendous amount of medical literature.

That said there does seam to be a tolerance to it in which ever increasing amounts are needed...maybe why, for some, it doesn't seam to work.

I know someone who has had silver work for an eye infection and I know people who have said it has helped them with Lyme although not cured them. So I htink it can help some people, like everything, not everyone.

I think it does have dangers though and as I was once approached in an unethical way by a silver seller and asked to lie to this board I know the salespeople of it are not all honest people- but everything is like that- with some dishonest people. I am glad it helps some people but I have never seen it cure Lyme. I would never recommend it as a first strike on Lyme, but I am glad it exists for those whom antibiotics are not a good option. There are those people!!!
Sincerely,
Sarah

Given the ISDA guidelines that the medical establishment seams to be accepting as gospel I fear traditional abx are not the answer.

However, there shouldn't be a war about this. Traditional abx and CS have a powerful synergistic effect and for many I feel this may be a rational and promising way to treat this infection. In my case if I had CS while being on abx all those years I'm certain I wouldn't still be in this mess.

Nano silver has to be titrated. If you take not enough there will be no effect. This may explain why some people improved while others not.

2 weeks ago I drank 2 tsp every 15 minutes for 4 hours after reading where a guy cured his morgellons' that way.

I drank total about 4 oz. After about 30 minutes I got severe diarrhea and fever/chills.

My plan was to do this once each week on weekend but I didn't make it back to get more yet.

What tailz?

What do you mean?

I got a PM from Trish saying she was greatly offended by what I said in my post here....

So here is my answer.....When I referred to you as "model lady"....

...there was nothing, OFFENSIVE, in the term AT ALL.(again my use of capital letters is just to emphasize...not shout)!

I don't know how ANYONE could take my referring to you as "model lady" as being an offensive remark.

My God.You mentioned you were a model at one time.

If you and Tailz think so....then, either of you, have Wayyyyyyy more problems with your lyme,

or seperate from it, that you should attend to, and not try and pick a literary fight with me.

Which is ALL this can be!

Because, GEE, if anyone has noticed, I've PURPOSELY stayed away from posts or comments from good ole' "EM" girl, tailz....

so instead, she looks me up, to try and pick a fight....

HOW COME???

GEE, I wonder why,...

huh, Cavey,BettyG,Webhead,Calyme, Stymie?
