Dec 17 I went to my Intern doc with a list of things I wanted him to test me for. I told him I've had too many recent tick bites and spider bites (?) and there is something going on in my body the last 2 yrs.
Whatever that is going on is made it's home in my GI. I've had two staph infection in the last 3 mths. One infection was in one of eyes in Sept. Now I've got what I think is staph infection on my toes on one foot the last week.
Oh yeah, my friend the gastro, that did a colonoscopy on me 12/11/07 called me 12/20/07 and told me the pathologist found no bacteria, viruses, parasites or anything in my biopsies.
Poor doc/friend had a written list from me instructing him which tests done for specific things. Anyway my colonoscopy and fecal smear and blood tests only confirmed that I have IBS and hemorroids. Dah, I could of told him that. Crap!!!
I haven't seen these gastro tests results personally yet. Believe me, I will see all lab results.
Intern ordered testing for: chlamydia HHV-6 CMV q-fever rickettsia baronella mycoplasma UA CMP uric acid sed rate c-reactive protein
Negative: Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever Comp panels all within range Bartonella Antibody Panel henselae & quintana chlamydia trachomatis gonorrhoeae-thank goodness Mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM Q-fever ANA
Equivocal: CMV IgM- equivocal
I'm going back to my Intern doc this Friday. I really need experienced or anyone that knows anything about this praticular positive test results with lyme & company.
Thanks for any insight anyone??????
Pam

Hi Pam.
Can you get your doc/friend to write you an order for a Western Blot IgG and IgM via Igenex?
I have high IgM and IgG titers on many virus' such as CMV, EBV, and HHV-6.
The Lyme depresses your immune system and allows these latent virus' to "come to life" again
So to speak.
I currently take valcyte to address these.
Hope you get a good visit. Are you thinking about finding a LLMD?
Hugs,
Geneal

I've already been there done that with Igenex and LLMD. I've been at this lyme & company thing since '98. Flu-like illness from hell started July '99.
Igenex '02 IgM 8 positive bands +, ++, and +++, 3 equiv +/-. LLMD '02-'04. My Internist treated me from July 99-today. He called it possible lyme from the first day I went to him, 10 days after the flu-like illness started at our lake home.
My PCP/Internist & gastro doc both use the same lab. They have done Western Blot on me twice since '02. They say negative for lyme. Same lab that I got positive above results from in Dec. for & company results.
Thanks Geneal. I did know they were related to tick bites. I've got recent bites. In '98 I didn't know what a deer tick or nymph tick was.
Today I know what they are. I just took a tick off me the first week of Dec. On my nose. I thought it was a spider bite, until days later when I realized there was a darker thing in the center of that bite.

Geneal, what is your approach besides valcyte to treating these viruses and bacteria? My Internist mentioned putting me on the antivirals? I will discuss with him tomorrow.
Anyone have any other suggestions? I'm going to start using rife machine/frequencies on them, now that I've found frequencies that are suppose to knock them silly or kill them.
I will go do my homework on valcyte. Thanks.
Pam
