Welcome to LymeNet Mike...
Bet you'd have liked to see some warmer weather since you are from "up noth"... and be there for the conference too? I would have liked it but couldn't make it!
I would imagine Dr. Jones enjoyed being in Tampa for the conference, as there was an overload of kids in the area. I thought about him all day yesterday.. wishing I could stop in and visit.
On second thought... poor man... he gets no escape from kids! He headed right into the kids festival. HA!
Yesterday, many folks were in town for the Gasperilla Children's Pirate Festival and Parade- an annual event which was scheduled for the day.
But then I heard the Parade and Firecracker display was re-scheduled for Sunday because of several tornadoes and severe storms/wind/rain that hit the area in and around Tampa in the late afternoon. One of those nasty tornadoes hit within 10 miles of me... so it was an "exciting afternoon" to say the least.
Hopefully everyone from the conference was safe and didn't get caught in the severe weather! Sorry I can't give you more information about the actual conference. Maybe someone can?
