ABX can cause changes in body chemistry and thus the STANK! I have experienced the same. Try a stronger anti-persperant...Mitchum, or one of the newer versions of Degree, etc.
If that fails carry a puppy in your armpits...blame the smell on the dog!

Drink at least one ounce of liquid chlorophyll daily. NO more body odor. No need for deodorant!
Two ounces per day is what I'm taking to help heal my body from a sinus infection. I may continue drinking it because it's so good for me!

Hahahahahaha JR, puppy, you CRACK ME UP!
Believe me, a port a pot might not smell as ripe as these pits. I guess that I'll just, wash, wash, wash. And avoid pit to nostril contact.

I have experienced this also off and on for a few years. The odor is not like anything I have smelt before.
I quit using regular deodorants. I use only natural stuff from health food store for 2 yrs. But that didn't help this odor that comes and goes.
Tutu, thanks for the tip. I will write that down on my list of to do and consider your suggestion.
Pam
PS: I kicked the abx thing over 4 yrs ago. I think it most likely a bacteria vs abx????

I get really stanky pits every time I detox. No amount or kind of deodorant seems to help. The smell seems to burn right through.
Have you added or changed something in your routine lately? That could be it.

I was a real stink pot when I relpased. For me it seems to be related to the level of bacteria I am fighting. Lately, I hardly have any odor at all - even after working out!
I never did find a solution to the stinky-ness when I had it bad, so I am glad to know about the Chlorophyl.

Robin,
I could run 7 miles and smell as fresh as a daisy afterwards. I have had this current odor problem a few times before, but it always correlated w/my time of month hormonal changes.
This time the only thing that makes sense is the medication. I have also noticed that my first urination after infusing is stinky too.
Anyway, one of the first 'anomalies' that I noticed in my body when I began to get sick was a sudden, drastic change in the odor of my sweat. Used to be nice, clean-living, great athletic sweat - turned into something yucky, plus, copious amounts! TMI, I know.
Before I ever knew I was 'sick' or began taking any medication, this was one of the 5 or 6 changes I'd noticed that I mentioned to my GP.
Many, many, many months later it came up in random conversation with my LLMD. I had long since dismissed it as an indicator of anything. Imagine my amazement when he said he had heard many of his Lyme patients make this comment/observation.
No idea whether it is caused by the toying with the thyroid that Lyme tends to do, the immune system getting crazy, or other chemical changes in the body, but it apparently often happens.
I'm sure it can also happen due to abx and other reasons as well. For me, I think it was Lyme. It is better since treatment - though still not 'normal'. I'm going to try chlorophyll too!

I don't wear deodorant anymore. I never used to stink, and if I forgot my deodorant, unless it was 95 degrees out, it wasn't a big deal.
If I stink now and it bothers anybody, blame my doctors.

Prior to getting diagnosed I noticed that my BO had changed also.
I switched deoderants several times and continue to do so.
My husband (prior to dx) would remark that at the gym his
Sweat smelled like amonia. That stopped too on antibiotics.
Actually, my husband switched to a stick that was just deoderant and that helped a lot.
Hugs,

That's all I need...30-40 20 year olds running after me...
Wait a minute....must be the Lyme talking!
If Puppy Pits don't work, try Kitten Caves...at least caats keep clean...

This is embarassing to say but this ODD odor I smell sometimes, it's not just from my arm pits. I have it other areas of body. Exact same odd smell.
It is not a typical body odor. Geneal mentioned ammonia. It's something like ammonia, but not quite??
I'm typically not a sweat type person. I don't prespire except around my hair line. Four years ago doing the infra-red sauna many times, I thought it odd that my body didn't sweat.

If I may be serious, just for a moment:
It could be your meds...if you are on any.
Often your PH will get messed up as well...might check this your self with a drugstore PH litmus kit.
I too smelled all over (from the Turmeric).

But JR, I take my meds/supps/vitamin/mineral/detox stuff everyday???
So why do the odors only come off and on? Is it a detox of certain thing? Dead bacteria?
What is the cycle of this sx? I've got to start keeping a chart, to answer some of my unanswered stuff?
I'm sure that the others that have already said they have a similiar experience with this ODD odor, are not taking the same meds etc I am?
I don't buy the yeast thing. I've been checked inside and out and the so called experts says no yeast in me from years of abx use.
Yes, I have done years of acidophalus/probiotic.
Good discussion here?

Wow, JR, I just reread the tularemia part. I was just reading this great medical abstract last night on tularemia.
The summer I got attacked by 12 unknown insects. I was told it was chiggers, by my sister. She said put clear nail polish on them. I did. Three weeks later the illness from hell started.
I was mowing grass in our lake yard, where we had a family of wild rabbits living under our shed.
Momma and babies would come out to play in our yard that summer. I thought they were so cute. I used to think deer were beautiful at that time in my life also.
I told Dr C my LLMD in '02 about the dozen bites I had that I thought were chiggers. He said describe them? Dr C said he would say they were nymph ticks, maybe chigger?

Please don't use antiperspirant; it will prevent you from sweating, and clearly your body wants something OUT!!!
That said, antiperspirant also [always?] contains aluminum, and we know that is found in Alzheimer's patients brains; we know spirochetes have been found there as well, so hedge your bets, OK??
My sweat had developed a "dusty" smell. It's OK right now, actually, but there certainly was a change. I bought deodorant for the first time in 10 years.

your pits are the drains for your lymph system if they stink you are dumping out something that really needs to get out.
I recently had a lymph drain massage the caused a rash under my pits. went to doctor who said it was a yeast infection and was prescribed an anti yeast meds for it rash cleared up in about 5 days with the cream. so its possibly just dumping out of your system. which we all know is a side affect of the abx we take to get rid of the lyme.
