I am going to try and ask this and make as much sense as possible. If I don't feel free to ask questions to understand better. Anyways here goes. I have been having problems now for several years. Been tested for multipe of things and never found anything wrong. I know I do have some issues that are not related to lyme so even if it is lymes I know I got a few things outside of that.

Anyways here are my questions. With Lyme, is it possible to have a symptom once for a period of time and then not have that symptom again, or if you do it be a long space between it. I have been plauged with multiple of things over the years that has never been explained.

I was going to a doctor before my insurance got cut off trying to figure out what is going on with me. I have been diagnoised tentativly as a neurologial problem with CFS and fibromyalgia like pains. No fibro tender spots except my wrist. Was told it could be MS, because of the way the syptoms would flare up and then go away for a bit.

My problem is, that right now I am unable to work. I have a almost 2 y/o daughter whom I sturggle to take care of. Not finace wise but physically sometimes. If she was a holy terror there is no way I could do it. IT seems though that she understands mommy has a hard time and is so good with me.

I do not have insurance and have been unable to find a compatent doctor who does a sliding scale so that I can afford to go somwhere. I am out in the boonies with not a lot of help most of the time to get to places that are farther away then a few miles down the road. Thankfully I live just under 2 miles from wal mart so I dont have to go far for stuff.

Eek I got off track a bit. Anyways right before my insurance got off the previous doctor I saw mentioned lymes disease. That is why I have been researching on it and trying to get something figured out. I don't recall ever having the rash, but being out in the boonies ticks are a problem here. I know I have had some on me a few times.

In a little while I will post the things that are going on with me that occur the most often, meaning the normal can be expected things and then the not normal unexplained things that have been happening over there years. It is going to take me a little while to compile it so that it makes some sense and doesn't ramble on too much.

Oh and I have tried to join a lyme yahoo group for my area just waiting approval for it.

Adding this in, If you saw this on the other board it is because it was there. Once I realized that I could delete post, I movied it over here to where it belongs.

Thanks

It sounds like Lyme is a good possibility for you with your history of a tick bite and your symptoms. MS, CFS, and fibro- like symptoms can be caused by Lyme, and symptoms can come and go.

You should find a good LLMD (Lyme literate medical doctor). Some of us have to travel to see one. You can post under seeking doctors and someone will PM you docs near you.

Anyone with a positive history of tick bites as well as

Strange symptoms that vary and wax and wane,

Should suspect Lyme disease.

Also important is how long you have felt ill or if you can recall

Tick bites prior to pregnancy or during pregnancy.

I have a four year old who I am sure has congenital Lyme.

My six year old is also infected as well as myself and husband.

I understand resources may be an issue for you.

It is important to get tested preferably through Igenex in Ca. if you can.

It is also important to find a doctor who specializes in Lyme disease.

We call them LLMD's here (Lyme Literate Medical Doctors).

I live in La. (hi neighbor [Smile] ) and we are crawling with it here.

Let me know how I can help you.

Hugs,

Geneal
