My llmd recomnended I order a few herbs from cowden to help detox. He said to take burber parsley and pinellia...has anyone else ever tried this? Experiences?
Also, when ordering it on-line, when it asked where did I find out about the cowden protocol, it gave me choices, one being my DR. Is everyones LLMD listed there?

Yes, Burbur can be very helpful for herxing / detox.

I doubt the site lists all LLMDs, probably just those who have given permission and actively using the protocol.
I tried Burbur to help detox and reduce herxes. Unfortunately, I didn't react well to it. It made me nauseous and caused diarhea. But my doctor said I was the first patient he had who couldn't handle it.

I've used the burbur for detox. It definately helped to moderate my herxing, especially earlier on in my treatment.

I found that taking burbur and parsley together when I feel symptoms, is a big help.
I recently started the pinella when I started the full-Cowden, so I don't have an opinion on that one.
As an example, when I was shopping for Thanksgiving dinner I was symptom-free when I left. But when I was at my second store, I started getting fatigued, then started feeling "Lymie". By the time I got home I felt somewhat bad.
I took parsley and burbur, then took it again 10 minutes later. I went back to feeling symptom-free.
They're a huge help for me.

This may or may not matter, but when I feel toxic and feel my lyme coming on, I drink a lot of lemon water and I truly feel well within 20 mins. I squeeze a lot of real lemon and lime in some carbonated water and it makes me feel better

Carbonated water is water with bubbles in it. It is what makes Coca Cola fizzy. You can buy carbonated water at the grocery store.

Yes, this works very well for me as well, the lemon and limes.
I have tried Burbur, Parsley and Pinella. If you have brain fog pinella is fantastic. The jury is still out for me fully on the Burbur and Parsley, mainly the parsley.
I have read reports that parsley in high dosages can be toxic. Not sure how much, so I tend to err on the safe side. My LLMD feels 10 drops is not significant enough.
I have so much neuro stuff that I am biased towards the pinella and use it when I need it. Helped me significantly.
