My dr. wants me to consider ozone therapy. If I decide to do it, my blood will be filtered with ozone. It sounds good, but I'm just not sure. My doctor said everyone who has tried it has felt better. It's used for many different diseases/illnesses like hepatitis C. Has anyone ever heard of this??

BTW, I would have to pay $250 out of pocket. Is it worth doing? I know it's not going to get me all the way better, but maybe it would help.

Hi,I have two ionic pro air purifiers in the bedroom.
One of the by products is ozone.
The oric dude says his air machine doesen't make ozone so i know the ionic pro ones do.
You might want to get an ionic pro. but double check this online.
I can smell the ozone in the bedroom.Kind of like bleach smell.
I don't know if it helps or not.

Ionic ozone is nothing like ozone therapy.
I personally use ozone via sauna and insufflation and do think it can be helpful. I would consider doing ozonation of the blood as well personally though have not done so thus far.

I'm getting this right now. I started with two times a week and after 3 weeks it was reduced to only once a month. They take a bit of my blood out, mix it with ozone and give it back to me.

I feel better since but I cannot say that this is due to the ozone alone because after the ozonized blood is given back to me I get infusions with lots of other stuff, like Vit B, Vit C, gluthatione, magnesium, and alpha lipoic acid (there is more I think but I don't remember).

All this is supposed to boost the immune system. $250 is a lot of money. How many treatments would you get for it?

James,

it is definitely not a joke. Lots of serious doctors here in Germany are doing it - and we Germans are known for not being very good in jokes [Wink]

Ozone brings oxygen into the blood - this can help killing pathogens and is said to have other benefits. Do a search on ozone therapies.

Many people here swear by it.
