1. Does insurance ever cover it for more than a month?
Will they be more likely to if you've had a SPECT done?

2. Do all those treated with it lose their gallbladders? The majority
of them?

3. Will it do anything if you have active co-infections? If you're

treating co-infections concurrently?

4. How common is sepsis?

Sorry--I just REALLY think I need this now. My life has just

become pure agony because of this illness, and unless thinks

start looking up soon, I don't think I will be able to go on.

I don't have all of the answers to your questions but I do have some:

1) I was on IV Rocephine for 8 mos and I did NOT lose my gallbladder

2) IV Rocephin helped my headaches and abdominal pain disappear within weeks.

3) I did not have the horrific herxes (or maybe it was yeast or side effects) on IV.

4) Blue Cross paid for the IV care

5) Things I regret: Not taking time to reeeeallly kill the Candida, not sticking to my diet and NOT knowing to have my LLMD put me on cyst busters when I was completed.

However, I did follow up with another year of orals and, despite my having Bart now, I have not noticed any relapse of LYME symtpoms.

I think the IV saved me...I was in chronic stage, for sure.

Hope that helps.
