Adamm,
It's nearly impossible to sort out everything. Just follow your doctor's orders, take the best care of yourself and rest body and mind. Rest is vital to getting better.
I don't mean to put off your symptoms, surely it's scary and confusing. I think many of us can say that we spent lots of time trying to pull this apart so that we could better understand it.
But by letting go and making a place for good rest, proper sleep and some things that can take our minds off this for a while - well, it might just be the best we can do for a day or so - or longer.
Much of what you describe from brain function can be a result of toxins - our bodies have a tremendous load to sort out. It can cloud up all systems.
Much of the way the body works is still a huge mystery even to the most avid scholars. We do know that rest can help heal.
Lesions, if present, have been shown to actually shrink and even disappear in many cases with treatment. Trust your doctor. It's a process.
We all have to actually work to relax a bit and give it time.
Your not doing yourself any favours stessing 24/7. Your in a llmd's hands and have some belief that things will get better. But you will struggle to make progress if you continue to worry about every single symptom. Good luck
Jason

adam, you really need a chill pill. You ever needed a xanax? You do now. You are making/driving yourself crazy with worry.
I remember those days and how stressful it is not understanding what is going on in your body & your mind.
Anytime something pops up different with you, you need to try the search button on this site. Put in search for word(s) that you want to read more about.
Many many threads will pop up and you can read about your specific concerns. After you read what others have to say and what they experienced it will help ease your fears of.....
I'm not crazy, I just have lyme & company. After you don't spend your energy worrying about these things, you can spend that energy searching for medication or supplements/vitamins/minerals that might help your body with all these things.
You can't take rx's that help aaaallllll of these sx. Shop your nearest health food store and figure out what it might be that can help your body and immune system.
Treatment of lyme & company takes patience. Patience, something most of us did not have until we were faced with all of this stuff.
You are not going to find all the answers today. You might have to wait until next month, month after or even next year.
Patience my dear, patience. No stress!!!!!!!!!
Pam

Tai Chi or Qi Gong might be a fun way to get some gentle, meditative movement. Great thing about that is that is healing and diversion.
There may be a class near you - or a DVD. Both would be great. It's vital to have a good instructor in person and the spirit of a group. And the DVD at home can be used any time of the day.
There is a range of type from more meditative styles to martial arts so study the description if you go looking for one.

i second the meditation suggestion!!
and yes, you can have horrible neuro symptoms without lesions. i did. i could barely think at all, couldn't read, write, communicate, watch TV - and somehow my brain MRI came back normal! confusing as hell at the time, but there you have it. these diseases often make no sense.
