I recently had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones from continuing Rocephin IV treatment. I was able to have it shipped to Igenex for a biopsy for the lyme bacteria borrelia.
It was negative. I've read where the lyme may not survive well in or near the gallbladder. Anyone have any input on that?
I'm taking it that it's a good sign and maybe the Rocephin is killing it all. I just completed my seventh month of rocephin.
Just thought I'd share some interesting news.

Just out of curiosity because I have gallstones, Do you have to get youre gallbladder removed? I thought there were drugs that dissolved gallstones.
