just thought i'd share this.. perhaps some of you can relate. I got jerked around by 2 shady CA Infusion Pharms. Infusion Pharmacy #1: I was discharged by Pharm #1 on the day of my 4 wk trip to the east coast (and 3 days in Canada). They claimed they no longer had access to Brand Rocephin (after 18 days of service). They would not return my calls or give me a reason for the discharge and Insurance did nothing to assist. I was quite angry and more importantly, without meds for my trip. Infusion Pharm #2: These crooks sent me a 7 day supply of Ceftriaxone (Generic) and tried to convince me it was brand by including packaging of Roche Rocephin (how shady is that?). Needless to say, I refused to pay because my Rx was for Brand Only. The JERK told me they pre-purchased a 72 day supply and I was responsible for it. this JERK yelled and cussed at me, said I was paranoid, and hung up on me. No one would return my calls either. these guys had the nerve to call me the other day (90 days later) telling me i was responsible for the meds. the JERK refused to apologize then i listened w/o interruption as he rattled off a bunch of lies. i said "nice story" and proceeded to tell him what the true story was. JERK interrupted immediately so i hung-up on him. i never signed anything and the meds were drop-shipped to a friends house while i was in Canada. JERK is out of his mind and a bold face liar - unbelievable. they cannot get away with taking advantage of sick people. does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to teach this Pharm a lesson once and for all? Canada: I saw a random Doctor in Canada who was willing to write me a Canadian Rx for 90 days for Rocephin based on my US one. I purchased two 1g vials of brand Rocephin from the Pharmacy next door and they mixed it up for a pre-filled syringe. All of this took less than 2 hrs! I ended up ordering the full 90 Rx from the Pharm and they shipped to the US. I saw Drs B & G in NJ... they both were great! I broke down with Dr B when I began telling him about all the crap I went thru. He was touched and sat with me for about 3 hrs. Dr G was responsible for hooking me up with a reliable NJ Pharm capable of mixing my meds and shipping them out to me weekly. Overnight shipping is expensive but it's worth every penny knowing I'm in good hands. -- sonicbmx -------------------- "The hell with Drs.. we have each other!" I'm not sure if we're supposed to do this, but maybe it's ok since we're talking about shady pharmacies, not doctors.... could you post the names of these shady pharmacies?

these companies deserve to be on blast. i'll remove if it becomes a problem but I think we all have a right to know. our illness is not a joke and delays can and will cause serious damage. Pharm #1: Bioscrip Infusion Services, Burbank, CA Pharm #2: IV Solutions, Los Angeles, CA Shady Home Care: Alternative Home Care, Van Nuys, CA FYI.. i'm now using Accent Care in Los Angeles for Home Nursing and Meds (www.accentcare.com). their service has been outstanding thus far (like night & day). both my nurse and the Pharm call me weekly to see if i have any needs. i highly recommend them. -- sonicbmx -------------------- "The hell with Drs.. we have each other!"
